Ahh, another cleanse question. I suggest you look through the numerous cleanse threads posted in the past 3 days, then do some research of your own. Look for scientific data to back up claims of cleanse diets. There is none. The Mayo Clinic, Harvard Medical, all state that there is no data to back up claims of the…

January 1st Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yep. Did I exercise for 20+ minutes? Yep. Did I keep track of everyting I ate and drank? Yep. Didn't feel like the workout, but did it anyway. Yeah me!

The original post asked for opinions on doing a cleanse. This is a public forum, if you ask for an opinion, don't be surprised when people are brutally honest. If you want for people to be nice, and tiptoe around so as not to hurt anyones feelings, don't post questions here! The vast majority view cleanses as fads or…

It will absolutely help you lose weight--your wallet is much lighter now!

Eat at a deficit and move more. Drink plenty of water. That's it.

Go, have fun, walk, walk, walk, and don't worry about your weight, then hit the gym when you get back. Also, look at cutting your calories when you get back, you shouldn't be gaining if you are running that much.
-
Maybe you should have a sleep study done. I have apnea and since I got my cpap machine, I sleep soooo much better!

Diet for weight loss, but who wants to be skinny-fat? Exercise is important too.

"As far as the price, I had mine done in Houston and it was a little over $5,000 but I also had some lypo & scar revision done on some old surgery scars. I plan on going back to the same plastic surgeon as before since he did such a great job. He quoted me $5,000 for replacements next year." [/quote] "^^^^ This alone would…

Some of us just don't lose in the boobs. I'm a 34DD and was the same size when I was stick thin. I had a friend who recently had reduction surgery--she looks FANTASTIC!! I'm not to that point, but damn I wish they would be perky C cups!!!

I had a close friend lose a baby because she was't eating enough. Your chances of miscarriage skyrocket if you are eating at a deficeit. Please don't try to "diet" while pregnant. Concentrate on eating clean and healthy at your maintenance +300 calories, you can lose the weight after the baby is born.

I think it depends on you and how your body responds. I feel ravenous the next day if I have a cheat day, and it takes me several days to get back on track. So, I don't cheat. I also have a tendency to binge, and cheat days are just a way of giving myself permission to munch all day long. Not a good idea! Now, if you can…

ITA! I always get tickled thinking about "how to loose pudgy arms"--are they trying to pry the fat off?
-
I'm shakin' no to the shiver diet too!

Your BMI is only 16.6--You are seriously underweight. IMO you need some help!
-
Okay, just shrunk another 4" to make it a full 5" off height. Seems kinda weird putting my height in a 5'!!
-
Took a peek at your diary. You aren't eating enough fiber. Add a ton of veggies and drink lots of water. Eat prunes and/or prune juice. Works just like drain-o!!
-
Okay, I just shrunk an inch, we'll see if that gets my burn down to where it ought to be!

This^^^^ Do you really want to have the physique of a 12 yr. old? I was underweight in my early 20's (5'5" 105 lbs) and thought I was fat. Looking at pictures now, I looked horrible! Choose a healthy weight, and FGS eat some protein!
-
I had a BF once who used to lick his food to keep his roommate from eating it. Maybe give that a try!
-
Tell him you'll only make diet food if he insists on eating yours. Then send him to the sofa for a couple of nights. ;-)

I LOVE running! It is my favorite workout. I tolerate weight training, but running just clears my mind. If you're looking for a starter program, the couch to 5K is fantastic. Just google C25K and you're off and running. (be sure to get good running shoes and a good running bra!)

I work with a woman who lost quite a bit (I'd guess 30-50 lbs) on the Paleo diet and she looks FANTASTIC! She doesn't count calories, but she does work out with weights and runs. I tried it, but just can't live without oatmeal, beans and yogurt--so It's not for me. I say give it a try. Just cause something isn't for me…

Always wear panties when working out! Just the thought of going w/out makes me cringe!

I went to France for 2 wks. ate cheese, gelato, wine and anything I wanted and only gained 1 lb. Plan on walking your butt off and you'll be fine. Have fun, and worry about the weight when you get back. I loved my trainers advice--go over a size 8 and come back a 10, we'll get it off in no time.
