I don't know about the toning videos or anything, but I do know of someone who was close to her goal and couldn't get there, and she decided to start lifting weights and now she is so happy with herself and she feels accomplished. She actually lost a couple of more sizes due to the toning. So go for it! Maybe ask around…

I started shred a while ago, and i lost 17lbs on it. I had continued on to Ripped in 30....but then I went on a vacation and I have been railing since! I've actually gained all that weight back! UGH! I'm starting at 200lbs.

Start: 198.5 Current: 195.2 Goal: 180 I did not track as I should be, nor have I been exercising, but I have been watching what I eat. I guess that helped! I also had TOM so I'm sure that will attribute to the loss :) Still feels good though! Motivates me for next week for sure!

I think it sounds very reasonable! go for it! its better than doing nothing! You know what I used to do, and should probably do again: do them in sets. Instead of just doing 50 straight, do 12...take a 5 second break, do another 12, 5 sec, then increase to 15, then break, 15, break...etc. until you reach muscle failure,…
