Hey! It's actually a part of the MFP site, you just have to customize it and publish it to your profile. So, if you click on "home" and then click on "profile", you should be able to set a tracker and customize the photo on it. After you set it up, it automatically updates with your check-in weight, etc. Also, you can have…

Oh thank you guys so much!!!! That photo was taken at about 151 lbs. Today I woke up and I was at 140 lbs. SO STOKED! lol.... Instead of not being able to fit into like 90% of my closet... I think it's down to about 45% of my closet. It's like getting new clothes, but not having to spend any money!!! hahahaaaaa.... I will…

nice!! i grew up eating all asian foods and i love bahn mi. :) be careful though. if you are getting your sandwiches on the roll breads with pate... its actually very caloric. meanwhile, pho is like the vietnamese version of chicken soup and low in cals. lol.

Take a look at Cod Liver Oil (not just any fish oil). G'luck. I hope you find relief asap!

My doctor at Cedars Sinai created a daily regimen for me based on my health history, my current lifestyle, and my goals: -1x Multivitamin (food based, easier on the tummy) -1x B Complex -1x Vitamin C -2x Calcium (w/ Vitamin D) -1x Cod Liver Oil

ehhh, don't buy into those charts. just work on achieving your personal goals that make you feel good and happy and active. i'm 5'2". i started 167lbs, which the charts put me at "obese". i'm now 140lbs, and the charts still put me at "overweight". this is why i dont really listen to those charts. i haven't taken new pics…

i JUST got over bronchitis. i was out of commission for 2 wks (in addition to a week from an unrelated allergic reaction, so a total of 3 wks). believe me, i know what you mean! LOL.... talk about cabin fever! i'm assuming we're all talking about being healthy, and not about losing weight. well, to be healthy, you have to…

holy moly! you look phenomenal. and you seem so happy. :) congratulations!!!

some other kickass exercises: holding the plank position. just hold it as long as you can. start with 30 seconds and work your way up. great one for your obliques, start on your elbow, lying on your hip (photo A). then lift your hips into a solid side plank (photo B) and hold for 10. lower and repeat for as many sets as…

I graze all day long out of my lunchbox/cooler. Seriously, all day. I usually munch on something every 30 minutes and take forever to finish it. Like, a 100 cal pack of pretzels? I'll eat one pretzel and then get distracted typing/working. Then I'll eat another pretzel like 5-10 minutes later. And so on and so on. It can…

Look at you!!! Great job!!!! Yes, that's totally normal. Your abs actually bounce back a lot faster than most of your other body parts actually. Really, amazing job. I love that there was no dillydallying! Talk about determined! A great variation in abs is to do all your regular abs, extreeeeeeeeeeeemmely slow. For…

i'm of the school of thought that you should do both simultaneously. it's great to alternate days. :) as i mentioned at another point in this thread, you burn more cals with muscle so it only serves you to do both! hehehe.

you look awesome!!!! btw, has anyone ever told you you resemble Elizabeth Shue? :) gorrrrgeous!

YAY!!! Thanks for finding it!!!!!! It was really amazing how profoundly his speech registered with me. Here's to everyone being ready for their success! xoxo.

I agree with everyone else's comments. Also, talk with your trainer. She should be able to adapt her workouts to what you want to achieve. If not, you can definitely consider finding a different trainer. G'luck!

wow. i can relate. sorry someone felt they had the right to devalue your feelings and your specific situation. ugh. you know your body best and know what you want/need. GO GET 'EM GIRL! xoxo.

seriously, great job. that's a HUGE, huge realization. congrats! i'm infamous for always leaving with doggy bag leftovers. LOL.... whatevers. lunch turns into lunch + dinner. saves my waistline AND my pocketbook! hahah....

you just reminded me of what started my whole mental shift and lifestyle change. i posted the extreeeeeeemely long story in the Motivation topics if you've got a lot of time to kill. lol.... ;)

good point. it's vital to include weight training for sure. i was just reading health fitness a few wks ago and it was something like: after a cardio workout, your body continues to burn cals for like another 30 min-1 hr. but following a weight training session, your body continues to burn cals for like 4 hrs or something…

I only spend about 5 minutes getting ready in the morning, so I'm really out the door asap. I don't have time to make breakfast. I have to ziplock pack everything the night before so I can just grab and go. I assemble my breakfast together at my desk. :) One of my recent faves is an English Muffin + a scoop of Hummus +…

i just programmed the dvr! :) and dont be ashamed of ur guilty pleaseure! i work in reality tv!!!! hehehehee.....

Black_Swan - I totally agree. This is a process and a journey, it doesn't have to be all or nothing. I definitely think the shift from processed fast food to 200g+ of healthy raw salad is TOTALLY fine. :) Take it in babysteps and know that it gets easier overtime and all these little changes will eventually become second…

Ohhh, I'm kinda in a similar boat. I work insane hours and the traditional mealtime hours don't really apply to my life. I bought a mini cooler/lunchpail with a bunch of reusable icepacks. This serves as my portable fridge. And I'm like, the tupperware lady now. haha... I swear I wash more tupperware than I do real dishes.…

you're absolutely right! thank you. i need to celebrate all the mini achievements while maintaining my eyes on the prize. :)

Aw, thanks everyone! It really helps to have so much support. So really, thanks to all you ladies! MFP has been instrumental to my weight loss, especially forcing myself to be accountable once I opened up my Food Diary. lol....

OMG! I had an abdominal surgery when I was 19!!! but i was never told that it would affect my body in any real way. the human body really is amazing in how it heals and bounces back. it's true, you absolutely cannot spot reduce. however, you can target certain muscle groups for more definition, but you will only see the…

meanwhile, i JUST got an email for a free ice cream at cold stone creamery. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! lol...
