You could always weigh the corn before you eat it and then weigh it again after you eat it off the cob. The net would be how much you ate and then you can calculate the calorie consumption.

Glad to know that I am not the only one that like them together...also grew up eating PB and mayo sandwiches. Still have one every once in a while.

The only thing I cut out was a bunch of extra calories I didn't need. I did not eliminate any food groups or food items. I simply moved more and ate less. Worked well for me.

If we can score 40-50 points a game.....we might win 3 or 4 of them.

^^same here...OP, it is not about WHAT you give up....it's about HOW MUCH you give up....eat less, move more is a lot easier to stick with than some arbitrary....don't eat this or don't eat that "diet" based on my experience.

So much this ^^ For me it has been easier because I set new goals. That was the best advice I learned from MFP as I approached maintenance. I have been maintaining for 4 months now. I did not have a big celebration when I reached goal. I decided for me, I was not going to call my weight loss a victory until I have…

Hands down it would be my Fitbit Force. I have several other gadgets and weight loss tools, but if forced to give them all away and keep only one, ....it would be the fitbit.

1. Keep it simple, don't overthink what you should or should not eat....i.e. track your food and exercise daily and be honest with yourself. I am a calorie in vs calorie out proponent and that is what worked best for me. I did not cut out any food groups or specific items. I just tracked most of everything I ate. 2. Eat…

eh, maybe....as long as you are speed reading....but I would recommend wearing your HRM to be sure.

It has happened twice to me, once from one side and then from the other. Both times I glued it back and kept going. No negative issues. Should do the trick for you.

Did it break....or just come loose the display unit. My strap came loose from the display unit and I just used a drop or two of super glue to reattach it....because I agree, I was not giving up my Force. eta: at least not until they come out with a new one

Yep, been there, done that. I reached my goal weight in April, but I did not do any major celebration. Something that resonated with me as I was working on losing weight and lurking on the boards was someone said something to the effect that getting to your goal weight is not the end of the journey, it is the beginning of…

Please see below for real results of what you so eloquently call "BS". No magic pills or solutions were used in the below results. Just hard work, consistency and patience. I did not give up any food groups to get to where I wanted to get to and I am probably in the best shape I have been in in the last 30 years.

Only one....Standing directly in front of the dumbelll rack where no one else can get any of the weights in that area. If you are strong enough to pick them up, I am sure you are strong enought to step back 6 feet so you are not blocking the rack. If you need to stand that close to the mirror to see yourself, go see an eye…

When I was out of breath tying my shoes......and needed to buy another size larger pants. I said no to the pants and started moving more and eating less. So glad I made that change in my life.

I will tell you what worked best for me. I had what I call a “free day” every week. I did not call it a cheat day because I did not look at it as cheating. I looked at it as a day to eat what I want. Since I did not cut any food groups out of my diet, it is not cheating….right? The point is….it was a PLANNED day to eat…

Yep, it is all good. Enjoy the swim!!

No real story to tell.....just the results I wanted. You know what they say....a picture, or in this case a ticker is worth a thousand words. Please see below.

Assuming you both knew where your loyalties were before you got married.....I guess it is true....love conquers all!!

^^ Love your attitude. :drinker: If everyone had this attitude toward food and life, the world would be a much better place and life would be much simpler.

:grumble: :grumble: :grumble: But I agree it was funny. :drinker:
