For me, it's really important to keep those numbers down. I try to make fruit my only real source of sugar. Sure, I'll splurge sometimes, but I find I stay on track so much better when I avoid the white devil all together.

I'm doing south beach which is more of a good carb diet than a low carb diet. The first phase (2 weeks) is pretty restrictive, bit after that, it's not bad at all. It has really helped me curb my carb and sugar addiction.
