Normal, sadly. I grew up in Houston (still the fattest city...). Yet, despite how normal it is, still got a lot of flack as a kid. Oh well! I live in DFW now, and it's...still normal. Ugh. Texas.

The person who leaves all of their crap on a machine to "claim" it during the busiest time of the evening. Purse was hanging off of it, water bottle there, and so on. The person was nowhere in sight. And the girl who smelled like she'd bathed in hair spary before coming to exercise. I got a few good mouthfuls of that and…

Hooray! I've lost a bald eagle! I love this!

^^ This! Most of all! Having something to do leaves me focused on anything but food. I'm well acquainted with emotional eating (hooray depression), and it is a huge jerk. Logging is helping a lot, too. It's become second nature to me now. I log my whole day first thing in the morning to see how much room I have for…

I always liked to eat and hated to exercise. I'd rather stay inside and stuff my face while reading a book than eat in moderation and go outside and play as a kid. As a result, I've always been fat. Simple as that.

I can hold a few yoga poses for more than a few seconds now! My arms don't shake half as bad during downward facing dog as they used to. I can also get through 30min on the treadmill at gradual inclines without feeling like I'm going to keel over right there.

I've had several clicks, but my absolute last straw was being told I was too fat to ride a ride at Universal Studios. After that point, I resolved that this weight was going to come off come hell or high water! The new year came, and I started on this journey, determined to actually complete it this time.

Wow! Great work! That's fantastic. I know you have certainly inspired me. :)

Right now, I'm just hoping for 100lbs lost by Jan 1, 2014.

Hummus dip with pita bread for an appetizer, then a Bleu Cheese burger with steak fries. Accompanied by 3 double-Day at the Beaches. So good. So very good.

This is what I do. I was at the store yesterday and eyeballing a can of Wolf Brand Chili...when I checked the label, the calorie content (340 for 1 cup! And I was gonna eat the whole can!) completely turned me off of it. However, I do agree with other posters, that you should indulge in small, small quantities. I have ice…

I started at 326. Down to 315 in a little under a month. I haven't taken any pics yet, though. :)

The same thing happens to me, too. Like everyone has said—you just have to get back on the wagon. Take it one day at a time! :)

I'm almost a month into my own soda-less life (Coke/Diet coke, I miss you!), and I know the drag you are talking about! I think it's probably part of the withdraw itself. By the time I ended the 3rd week, things were starting to pick up again energy-wise for me. But, I do eat a little more during the day than you are…

I based my goal off of the government standard and what seemed...better for me. So, I'm shooting for between 150 and 160 to start with. Once I hit THAT ultimate goal, I'll reevaluate and determine if I want to lose more. I'm 24 and am 5'7". I started out at 326—the heaviest I've ever been—a little under a month ago. I'm…

I love reading these threads. It gives me hope, since I've got about 166 to lose. You guys are awesome!
