Started in May, so a little over 3.5 months. I’m down about 20lbs, I haven’t really gone to the gym much in that period of time and I’m not calorie restricting that much. I’m not starving and I’m not miserable so I can keep this up indefinitely. Took me a while to figure out that electrolyte balance is imperative to…

"Is that all you've got? Is that REALLY ALLLLLLL you've got?!?!?!?!"

I used Herbalife intermittently along with working out for about 5 months and lost 30lbs. It just got too expensive.

I was never asked my opinion on this as a child (nor would it have mattered), so I received them per protocol. I've never died of a communicable disease so far. Whether one caused the other [not] to occur could be debatable. That being said, as an adult I steer very clear of flu shots, HPV vaccines, etc etc. Why? I just…

I feel ya. I put on about 70 lbs shortly after high school (and 50 more since). I ran into someone the following year in a public place and they looked at me and carried on excitedly about me expecting, and wondered how far along I was. I was so embarrassed both for myself and for them, that my answer was, "Oh, 6…

Do her a favor and tell her what you think. That way, she can dump YOUR sorry *kitten*. She's wasted more than enough of her time on you.

It's bad enough admitting to my myself that I just ate a whole bags of chips and seeing that giant red calorie number when I log it. I guess I don't want my friends knowing too :)

120 pounds to lose :)

Awesome, awesome job! Truth be told, I'm afriad that the mentality you described is going to affect me as well. I was 125lbs (I'm 5 foot 2 and a half) up until I was about 18 or 19, then I gained 120lbs over a few years. Honestly..I was not a very happy or secure person when I was thin (I also always thought I was fat..how…

You would risk throwing your body into starvation mode; where it wants to hold on to every last pound because it thinks it is going through a time of famine. It's a survival adaptation. If you put your body into starvation mode, your weight loss will become extremely slow. You want your body's metabolism to be quick to…

Sept 2014 wedding here also. I have about 120 pounds to lose total. Obviously not all of that is going to be gone by that time, but I'd like to be down at least 50 pounds by the wedding month. I'm also standing up in my sister's wedding at the beginning of May, so I have zero time to lose. I don't care so much about how I…

I'm between 5'2" and 5'3." Never mind what I weigh now lol, but when I was healthy my body fluctuated between 125 and 135lbs. I had a lot of muscle and ran tons. I struggled to get much lower than that. I think it just depends on your body. I know that even though my goal weight is 135, I might be happier in the 140s.

That was awesome. You have reinforced my new-found inspiration for running again! I just last week resolved to start running again after about 5 years of not being able to. I'm about 10lbs more than you were at your starting weight, but when I was 100lbs thinner I LOVED to run. I've missed it so very much. All these years…

I'm pretty unsociable and an oddball as well! And very close in weight to you. I'll add you!
