Congratulations on your progress! I also have severe endo and I am struggling to be able to get back into the exercise due to pain. I do what I can, when I can, but seeing this thread has given me inspiration and encouragement.

Nutritional yeast flakes and a bit of salt. Two tbsp has about 60 cals, though it is full of B vitamins and has about 9 grams of complete protein and a some fibre as well. It tastes a little cheesy/nutty. Hard to describe, but I like it as a popcorn topping.

I don't know about this diet for ulcerative colitis specifically (or weight loss), but for chronic inflammatory diseases, the anti-inflammation diet may be super helpful (and often low glycemic index, as well as being nutrionally complete if done properly). You can often figure out after some time on it, which foods flare…

I mostly knew what I was doing. I have a background in nursing and had a period a few years back where I had to try an elimination diet (and logging foods, but not weighing or counting cals) to find my "trigger foods" (inflammation), as I have a chronic pain disorder with GI symptoms. This taught me so much about how to…

Not really a recipe perse, but sometimes I mix protein powder into my regular pancake mix. I use pea protein, but any kind would work I'd guess.

I do a variation on that Garlic Parmesan recipe, but I add a bit of fresh lemon juice to them after roasting, before I sprinkle with cheese. The recipe also works great with french beans/string beans (also add a dash of paprika for kick).

I like apple slices and nut butter, a glass of chocolate almond milk to sip, 1 or 2 squares of 70% dark chocolate, or an individual container of greek yogurt. All come out to somewhere around 100 calories or so each.

Quark is a soft farmer's cheese. It's not difficult to make if you have a cheese cloth and the time to make it. It's delicious! Kind of like a cross between greek yogurt and cottage cheese (but thick and creamy).

Still not working at all for me either.

Hi folks, I'm Carrie. I'm 37, and have chronic pelvic pain syndrome and stage 3/4 endometriosis, which comes with a whack of immune symptoms. I'm on long term disability. I have the diet thing down pretty well most days, but I definitely need to move more, which can get tricky with the pain and fatigue. I seem to be having…

Yes! I have a One. My steps aren't showing on MFP and my food isn't showing on Fitbit. I've unlinked and relinked several times from each site. Just emailed MFP support for help. It was a bit wonky yesterday too, but eventually synched fine. Hopefully today it's just slow. Very frustrating though, as this keeps happening…

Ditto. Mine won't show at all.

I did chemical menopause at 26 for 6 months with HRT (to treat endometriosis), and never did figure out a solution to hot flashes, but I did learn that natural fabrics are amazing, and bamboo-cotton blend bedsheets are your friend when you have hot flashes at night in bed (they wick sweat, breathe well and don't leave you…

I'm also 5'7", currently 162.5, I'd like to get to 145 ish. I'm currently 37.5-32-40.5, and would like to get back down to 36-30-38 or so. I also have endometriosis so my waist measurements can fluctuate madly depending on swelling (I love lycra in fabrics, and also own a few sizes of clothing to accomodate whatever is…

If your pain does reach 10/10, it may be indicative of something serious, so please don't not go to the hospital. When pain is chronic, we tend to get accustomed to it, so a 5/10 or 6/10 for us, may be a, 8 or a 9 for someone who doesn't live with daily pain. When you have ongoing pain that spikes to a 10, your body is…

I can relate to this so much. I have a diagnosis of chronic pelvic pain secondary to sever endometriosis. I am on disability for it (for the last 10 years) and have required daily morphine for it. I have endometriomas on each of my overies right now (and they hurt), and my pelvic floor is dysfunctional due to where the…

Quinoa, tempeh, hemp seeds, eggs (if you're an ovo-veg), pepitas (pumpkin seeds are high protein albeit incomplete ), nutritional yeast flakes. Also perhaps look into protein powders? I'm not vegetarian these days, but I can't do whey or soy, so I mix it up with protein powders made with a combination of plant based…

I have GI issues too, and take daily narcotics for pain and I find water, movement, prebiotic foods/fibre and a good daily probiotic all helpful. Chia seeds, small servings of nuts and seeds, colourful skinned and cruciferous veggies and fruits like berries and pears and apples are all decent sources of fibre. I try to add…

This definitely happens to me. Anywhere from 3 to 10 lbs each month, but it usually drops back to "normal" by the end of my period depending what meds I'm on. I just accept it is what it is, and don't plan to record my weight until it's done. But yeah, feeling so bloated is not comfortable. Sometimes snacking on mildly…

Oh yes. I feel like I need carbs and fat and salt and sometimes chocolate when it's that time. Cravings are usually only bad for a day or 2, but if I have a migraine, salt and fat oddly help with the migraine hangover. I swear 90% of the fries I eat happen after a pms migraine. I have stage IV endo so I'm usually limited…

I have the same problem but I have no solution. I emailed the MFP support yesterday but haven't heard back.

I'm having the same issue, but can't find a solution.
