  • Friends and support are never a bad thing! But yes it is still controlled by you. I dabbled in keto and loved it, I am going to start another session here soon. Ideally I rotate between keto and primal. Either way I have found when I have support I do much better. Feel free to add me! I am not always the best at logging…
  • Congrats Everyone, even if you didn't hit your goal, you are still here and that is a win! Double congrats to those who hit their goal. Keep it up everyone! :) So, August ended up being a wash for me. I had family in town and then I have been sick with some respiratory infection for the last week. Today, is my first day…
  • Oh I forgot. There is also a difference between muscle soreness from fatigue and pain caused by an injury(I also mean something like torn acl or tendon damage here), doesn't have to be a break or sprain.
  • Just because your shoes are new does not mean they support your foot/ankle correctly. You can over or underpronate, the wrong shoe can cause a lot of pain, esp. if you have a serve problem. I over pronate and got a new shoe(which was supposed to be for pronation) however the sole was different than the previous model. Well…
  • I agree with jenlarz, shoes are a key element. Also take it slow with short distances and work your way, also do other leg strengthening exercises :)
  • Loving seeing these wonderful results! I am down about a pound too!
  • Current Weight: 163 lbs Overall Goal: 140 lbs August Goal: 152 lbs Sorry my weigh in is late, with the weekend I missed the 1st. :) My biggest struggles and what I continue to focus on, are to log everything while staying in my goal and drinking enough water. As for a fitness goal I am trying to get my 2 mile below 20 min.…
  • I am also trying to drop weight to join. I am in my last 10 pounds to hit army weight. But it's been a long almost year process and I'm still fighting and deciding which branch to join army/AF. I would love some friends in a similar situation. like MsWendyDarling, I am living with a sibling that is current active duty and…
  • Hey everyone :) I am a mix of all your stories so far. I am 27, trying to join the U.S. Military, I move around a lot. I just got back from living in the Netherlands for a year and a half, this past August. My weightless journey actually starts in 2009, when I was 170/180 something and got down to 150 ish, but then after a…
  • Girl, This post was so how I felt today. I have been on this site for years now, I got off the bandwagon with a bad break up but came back fighting! Today was the first day, I really experienced what I felt was someone hating on my success. I have had the family member who looks at you with a judgmental look or comments on…
  • I love these groups I am in :)
  • Same story, ;). Add me :)
  • Have a wonderful time Shaney! I am adding spinning to my running and Personal trainer. Tomorrow I am considering all 3, Run, trainer, and spinning tomorrow night. We will see how it goes. I am ready and I need a change, guess that change is gym rat status.
  • I loved spinning, I mean every exercise is what you make it. You can push yourself too much too. My average heart rate stayed high, but it was low impact and felt good. I will be going again on Saturday, as I have my personal training session tomorrow. I have noticed huge (5) pound fluctuations throughout the day. I got to…
  • Thanks Shaney! I will have to try out the spinning, sorry about the lack of spin classes in china. ;) Stepping it up is great, even as tired as I get or as sore it feels good. I also enjoy being able to just work out and not think so hard about it, just do what he says. 30 min a day works great for me, i need the…
  • Any ideas for a week 3 challenge? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1akyua9_DiIUZ0Fzjgh5FfYYHQCBk45bTUlH42trSp1E/edit?usp=sharing
  • Hey ladies. Sorry, our internet has been down and I spent most of the weekend watching my friends kids. So, I will update the spreadsheet in the morning :) @Shaney86‌ If you have a gmail message it to me and I can give you editing rights so you can edit it yourself too. Way to keep it up ladies. I had two sessions last…
  • Hey girl, I am a little older than you but trying to do the same thing. I am at my last 25 pounds. I lost a good amount of weight living in Europe and gained it all back within months of living in the U.S. again. I am a little frustrated with myself. However, I just went in and talked to the army recruiter yesterday. so…
  • c25k week 2 day 1
  • Well, I am starting with a personal trainer tomorrow. I am doing a fit test and going from there, to see if boot camp or ind sessions would be better to get me in shape for the military. I am really nervous and excited. I logged but went over today, and I don't think I will do my push ups. I know lame the night before…

My diary is open youre more than welcome to look, but hence our goal this week. I am not great at logging lately, but when i am thats when i loose so. I also do better when i actually weigh my…
  • Finished week 1 tonight ( took an unexpected day off yesterday) anyway. I pushed myself too hard tonight, and had to walk longer during walking sections of the second half, however, I still feel accomplished. I am going to repeat week 1, after tonights struggle.
  • way to go everyone, off to a great start :) Sunday 2/1: off day Monday 2/2: Week 1 Day 3 of c25k, 3.5 miles. (repeating week 1 again)
  • Yay for logging. I will add it! I got through the first day too. oh no. I hate that, your body needed something. :) I did the push ups, better than i expected 11 in one minute. And although not a challenge on here finished week 1 of c25k, however, I am going to repeat week 1, I had to take longer walking breaks tonight.…
  • @ChristinaMolinari‌, great goal! I am trying to increase running with c 25k this month also, can't wait to see how it goes. and absolutely not. Today starts a new week for us so just post your weight and what you want your weekly physical activity goal to be. Then just post every day with how you did on the dietary and…
  • Week two everyone :) Don't forget to weigh in. Challenges: Dietary, simply log everything (and be in your goal as a bonus). Work out: Ash - max push ups every day, Shaney - 4 days additional cardio. Christina? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1akyua9_DiIUZ0Fzjgh5FfYYHQCBk45bTUlH42trSp1E/edit?usp=sharing
  • Join our challenge group :)
  • Well Lets set that goal then Shaney, Log EVERYTHING we eat on MFP (bonus if you stay under your calorie goal every day). As for a work out goal I am doing c25k every other day, and weight lifting the other days. I think, I am going to try a push up challenge; how many push ups i can do in 2 min, every day. You are welcome…
  • Way to finish out the week strong! The week has been good as far as the challenges are going. I think this next week I need a goal that deals with logging everything!!! and staying in my goal. I have a really hard time especially at friends houses when they have snacks around. I have been good about not drinking those…
