I am 39 and WAS 20 lbs overweight.I am fairly active and plays golf almost 2x a week,walking. I was wondering why I am still gaining weight until my coworker encourage me to join MFP. I lost 12 lbs so far by watching what I eat and adding strength training.:happy:

Feel free to add me,I am 39 yrs. old. I joined a gym but my husband loves to do all the DVD and workout at home. I did the ripped in 30 by Jillian long time ago and I lost some weight.

I have to cut in half my daily coffee. You see,I drink 6-7 cups of coffee with cream and sugar everyday as long as I can remember. Now , I only drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning and then tea afterwards. Hard to do it at first but determination plays a big role:wink:

My husband is a keeper (and I intend to keep him:blushing: ).He LOVES to cook. He says that cooking keeps him relax. And he does pick healthy menu so it won't go over my calorie count. :bigsmile:

Feel free to add me.I am a nurse,too...and I did gain most of my weight when I was a permanent night shift. You know...keep on eating to stay awake kinda' thing??!!:laugh: Well, it is not a very good idea. I've been here at this site for 5 months now and I lost 10lbs so far.

I do have my "pre and post turkey day",where I exercise before and after thanksgiving day having >1000 cal under both days. I guess I evevn out on thanksgiving.
