The issue is about being granted and recognized the title of "marriage" and the benefits it entails. Not just some civil/legal union or forcing any specific church to perform the ceremony.
-
I'm for it. But for those who aren't, just don't marry someone of the same gender. Live and let live... simple stuff

I'm giving this a try. I started 2 days ago so I have wait before I can say YAY or NAY for my situation.

I want to join

I'd like to join you on this, but I'm not getting the DVD until next week :-/
-
That never worked for me, either. I could only wish it was accurate then I would have reached my goal by now :-/

Thanks, Shinjite. I'll message you with more questions. :)

With leangains, he outlines about 1-hour training. Is this for strength training only? where does the cardio come into play here?

thanks for the suggestions, it all sounds worth trying :)

I'd say give it a try and see how your body reacts to the running... because the important thing is that you listen to your body. And with anything else, your can build up to it... as you get leaner, your twins will get smaller so it'll be even easier to run... good luck!

For me, I'm 5'6" and so skinny for me is anyone wearing pants size 8 or smaller (same height as me)... and so I'm personally aiming to drop down to a size 10-12 with a BF% of less than 20%....

I trust my HRM a little more than the machines and even then, the HRM is just an estimate, too. What I do is, I try not to eat my calories back.

What I do is I log the calories burned through weight lifting in the cardiovascular section and then the specific excercises I did in the strenght training section, to keep track of how fast it takes to move onto another weight. The strenght training section does not keep track of calories, so those calories are not double…

Thanks for the link to that post...I'll have to read it carefully when I'm home.

But the protein shake actually helps me get to that day's protein daily goal... otherwise I'll be way under the goal.

I have an HRM and the average is 160... I'm trying high intensity interval training at the moment (as my cardio) where I try to reach 177 and excercise there from 30-45secs then recover to around 133 and then without a break go up to 177 again and keep repeating that as much as I can.

Yes, I do take a multivitamin daily. I drink a protein shake after a weight lifting workout. I usually burn around 700-800 cals when I go to the gym. When I do cardio, I usually hit the elliptical, treadmill and rowing... and even sometimes the bike. I do try to keep my sodium intake below the allowed daily dose... My diet…

I like that girl's body... she looks healthy and fit. In my personal opinion, a size ten should NOT be considered plus sized... because well, that what I'm striving for with this weight loss. I wouldn't want to be smaller than a 10...

How did you lose that much so quickly? You look great, btw! ;)

Sound good enough for me

It is certainly a concern for me, too. I lost about 50lbs since last november and there is extra skin where my love handles (now a little smaller) are and I hope a more steady weight loss will help. but in other parts of my body, my skin is doing a great job at staying tight. Well, wait and see...

I don't want to be "the fat one" among family and friends anymore.
