I'm 5'6", jean size 16 and 38%body fat. My goals are to be a jean size 10-12 and 20%body fat... although it is taking far longer than I expected. My body just refuses to let go of the inches around my waist and hips as well as my body fat. But I'm stubborn so I guess my body is too, good grief! :P

Depends on the type of craving: If it is for something salty, then yes, a pickle does the trick But if it is more sweets, I just throw a small bag of kettle popcorn on the microwave (the 94%fat-free type))

So 1600 calories daily? Is this before counting the calories burned through exercise or are you talking about net calories?

I'm 5'6" The goals are very close to what I had set to be begin with: Fat 30% and 40% ea. for Carbs and Proteins. I made the goal changes you suggested.

Thank you you for the encourgament, bufftheresa and all who have posted so far. Yes, I'm my biggest bully on making myself feel terrible because of the number on the scale. I guess, I should acknowledge more to myself what I accomplished so far and well, I just hope I can see some positive changes to keep me going.

And I try not to overanalyze my calories. I try to get to that 1200 net calories/day. My focus now has shifted to adding more exercise to my daily routine. I just can't seem to figure out my body, yet. It's extremely frustrating.
