I've always found (American) women's sizing to be arbitrary. I seriously have 4 pairs of shorts/pants that fit the exact same and they are sizes: 4,6,11, and 6 again. I even took a tape measure around the waist, and they're identical! However: 5ft 108lbs Pants- anywhere between 4 and 11 (See above) Shirts S-M Depending on…

Make popcorn (From the large plastic bag, not the pre packaged microwave kind) I add some "kettle seasoning" to it, which says there aren't any calories in it. It's fun to make it the old fashioned way, which will take up some time, and it can be fun to experiment with different types of seasonings.

That's awesome. But, I have to burst your bubble for a sec: Strength training totally burns calories, it's just that MFP isn't able to calculate it because of the variables that are involved with the individual. Most strength training work outs (Averaging 45 minutes to an hour) can burn anything from 100 to 500 kcals...…

Height: 5'0" Start weight: 143 Goal 1: 120 - still feel heavy-ish and flabby, but looked better... kept going Goal 2: 100 - this AND a healthy work out routine, 3-4 times a week. We'll see how it looks Current weight: 109-ish (depending on time of day, lol) BMI says I can go as low as 90lbs and still be "healthy", but I…

when I checked out my calorie intake for maintenance at the current weight it said about 1600 or so, but that would make me slowly gain weight. So I don't know. I'm 5 ft, 111 lbs. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with my self at this point.

That's great!! You'll feel so good about yourself when you get back!

Good Job! This site makes you pay more attention to the nutrition content of your food, especially the mobil ap, which has the whole break down of your day available. It's truly amazing. I look back at what I used to eat (drink!) and I am just shocked. The human body is an amazing thing, considering how few health problems…

the exercise high is the greatest!

I know what you mean... I'm worried that I may develop some kind of complex about it... =/ It's also almost compulsory to plan out ALL of my meals a day ahead...I think it's a control issue that I am getting. It helps with grocery bills though, not a lot of impulse buying. It also makes me feel good about stopping... I…

Or at least that's what I think I heard... it's what I choose to believe anyway.

Oh man, pizza is my Achilles heal. I have the hardest time saying NO. Great job! Keep it up.

I agree, putting on some muscle mass will make you feel better about your over all shape. It will help with any areas that you're unsure about, and cover up some of those bones!! =D See a nutritionalist to get on a muscle healthy diet and perhaps get a trainer (If you can). I think these two things will help you out a lot.…

It's really great. I use the phone app daily.

Just keep logging in, and DONT LIE to MFP. It won't do you any good if you "forget" to log something. I watch the "success stories" forum a lot for inspiration. Check that one out.

step it down a notch. Is it a tape? Don't push yourself too hard otherwise you will either hurt yourself, or turn yourself off to the idea. (Or both) Make it a general goal to get through the work out without pain. Slowly leading up to that point. Keep moving, even if you take "off days" from the workout, just get outside…

I am seeing it mostly in my legs and arms. Thankfully I haven't lost the girls.

I have always wondered why they choose some of the ads, I always get one for cakes and fast food.

Yes, I do it all the time. I think the food people eat says a lot about what they're like as a person. Not in any kind of deep or meaningful way, but I like to think it tells at least a little of their story. It's kind of like looking at what other people wear, or how they carry themselves... It's completely shallow of me,…

Like a new person! You clearly worked hard, and deserve praise.

Thank you, this is what I was looking for. I tip my hat to you.

my point... you've missed it.

I dislike the word "Toxin(s)" I need someone to seriously explain these theories better. Use the scientific names of the actual things that are supposedly so bad, so that I may do some research of my own. Not that I am saying booze isn't bad for you, but I need someone to actually spell it out, rather than say "toxin",…

You know what's funny is sitting here with the hot laptop on my legs makes them feel a lot better. I'll make a trip to the store tomorrow for bath salts, bananas, and something with protein.

Thanks everyone! All of this helps. =)
