I do both...some days I go before work, other days after work...I never go on a full stomach (I get queezy thinking about it) Its just preference. If I could, I would go every day on an empty stomach...I personally feel I have more energy. But do what feels right for YOU!!

I can do guy push-ups, but I still cant do an unassisted pull-up, or Chin up. One thing I see people at the gym doing, is instead of the assisted pull-up machine, they are standing on resistance bands looped to the top of the bar. I want to try this, but I might need help getting my fat little leg up there :)

My Gym does not have Barbells. We have the solid one piece ones that only go to 60 pounds (I know...weird!) So I am limited to light weights, dumbell's or the Smith Machine O.o
