I chose 154.9 because it is the high end of my BMI. If I reach that goal, and all my other tests come back good, I get $100 from the state for being healthy :)

I too am a wine lover, and the calories really do add up fast. Try pre-logging. If you know what you are having for dinner, work your other calories around it. I always pre-log so I have a pretty good idea of where I need to add, or take away to make the calories and the macros fit. Maybe come up with a weekly meal plan so that you know what you are having for dinner each night???

Has worked for me 35 lbs down. I am a visual learner, so when I see red, I know that I need to focus. Green is good!!! Plus, it helps me track the amount of calories I need to eat to be in a healthy deficit!

I go all year round. I go early in the morning to beat the gym traffic, and so that after work in the summer months, I can sit on a floatie in the pool with an ice cold beverage in my hand, and not worry about my workout.

I have experienced that myself. I know if I don't drink enough water the weight won't budge because my body holds on to every drop of water it can. It is a struggle, but once the routine is set..easy breezy! I started at 205, down to 178. I have a hard goal to drop another 20 before my vacation in June. I can do it and so can you!

Cut your portion in half. Log it as good as you can. Up your workouts over the next few days. I have to think of calorie intake in a weekly sense on not a daily tally. Thank you ladies, I appreciate all the positive feedback from you. I have been doing alternatives for the lunges. It seems the squats and step ups don't aggravate my knees like the lunges do. http://www.sandyskitchenadventures.com has quite a few low cal and low carb options. She has a Cauliflower crust pizza, but you can use tortillas or pitas like mentioned above. If you want something a little smaller, I have made them out of English muffins. They were great!
