well, in my case This forum and specialy the callorie journal helped me a lot in maintaining my callories, even with little exercise! When i started my plan i was about 140kg i am now 126kg, i only walk for arround 30 minutes per day, and i keep my callories to what MFP tells me.

thanks for the support guys, this was just a teaser, my real goal would be tremendous as i need to loose an adicional 20lbs for my first goal, then you should see a BIG difference :)

besides, starvation mode only happens if you dont eat for a long period of time also, meaning that if you keep eating low calloriie foods you will probably avoid starvation mode by cheating you body telling them that you got plenty of food avaiable and saving callories that way
