"But according to the National Cancer Institute and other health agencies, there's no sound scientific evidence that any of the artificial sweeteners approved for use in the U.S. cause cancer or other serious health problems. And numerous research studies confirm that artificial sweeteners are generally safe in limited…

Well, soda is, nutritionally speaking, useless. It's not good for you, but having it in moderation isn't going to kill you or make you unhealthy-- especially not if you are only planning on having it once a week and have a good overall diet. If you want to cut on calories, drink the diet version instead. Sprite Zero tastes…

Singularitiy. A jet pack that functions like Boba Fett's would be nice too.

Press in and release. If you have serious pain when you release, go to the doctor.

You *can* get all your vital nutrients from a 1200 calorie diet. The only catch is that you need to be very picky about what you eat. If you feel that you can maintain that intake, have a go at it. If you try it and feel tired, dizzy, or just overall bad, then you'll need to up your calories. Play around and adjust your…

Most people on starting on MFP obviously don't have a good grasp on nutrition. If they eat junk to fill their caloric goals, that's at least an improvment. People will change up the way they eat as they learn. There's really no reason to get upset over people who don't eat the way you'd prefer. And I think the reason you…

Assuming that you make no other changes to your diet (some people eat more food because they have extra calories saved from not having a calorie ladened drink, thereby cancelling out the deficit), switching from regular soda to a no calorie one will help you lose weight.

It's certainly not an attack on you. You asked why some people don't see value in juicing. I provided medical opinion and case studies as to why some are "against juicing". If you don't "buy" that, that's okay, but if you had your mind made up already, there was not much reason to ask the question.

People can have a rather skewed idea of what a person *should* look like. I don't think everyone that mentions something along those lines is necessarily hating on you. Some people will legitametly think you are too thin even though your weight is perfectly fine at the moment.
-
So you didn't actually want to know people's opinion on juicing then?

Skin takes time to shrink down, just give it time. That being said, you can help your skin firm up by incorporating weight lifting into your exercise regiment if you don't already.

I assume we're talking the diet craze and not sports? If so, then in terms of getting proper nutrients & weight loss, juicing probably isn't any better than consuming fruits and vegetables (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/juicing/AN02107) and in some cases, can be down right dangerous…

Well, I still have some arm flab but it's been greatly reduced by lifting heavier weights. I do chest, shoulder, incline, and decline presses, rows, tricep extensions, and lateral pulls for my arms every other day and I do cardio daily and I've noticed a huge difference.

Any adivce you seek will focus on teaching you lifestyle changes. Doctors are not just going to magically take the weight off and send you on your way, even if you did opt for weight loss surgery. We had a family friend who had a lap band surgery and even with that they had to learn to eat properly BEFORE and AFTER the…

Having my first cosplay this coming February. I'll be going as Poison Ivy. I always wanted to dress up for a con but I usually go right when it starts and end up being to lazy to get ready beforehand. Plus having a backpack to hold all my comics kind of ruins the look but I'm making my boyfriend be my bag ***** this time…

One more thing to add to OP: If you are worried about chemically processed sweeteners, you may want to keep from consuming something like Truvia. Many stevia sweeteners on the market are highly chemically processed and is comprised of synthetic erythritol which, if you looked at the site I linked to earlier, is classified…

A poor education system in a country that can afford a good education system & simply copy successful models elsewhere in the world is something to be extremely embrassed about. A better educated society would have less to be embrassed about.

Yup. A little over a year spent tracking every bite that went into my mouth and I think I'm just now able to self regulate. Maybe.

Read this a week or so ago. I guess having people starve to death is better than letting them have *gasp* GMO foods. Because starving is totally healthier for you.

Shark with a chipotle sauce, a side salad topped with some roasted veggies & some grilled pineapple for me tonight.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't really get that anyone was "shocked". As far as I knew, people were just making fun of her and thought her performance was bad.

I had a 34 inch waist. It's around 28.5 inches right now. Don't stress it. Just keep eating healthily & getting in your cardio and weight lifting and your waist measurement will go down.

Well obviously. Obviously, all the doctors and scientists out there are out to get us because reasons!

I thought it was going to be a parody the first couple of moments I saw it and so, I laughed. I mean come on, it has to be a joke. Nobody really thinks furry, grey, teddy bear leotards or air humping foam fingers are sexy.
