Definitely this. One of my big goals was to get to a loss of three water cooler bottles (at 15 gallons, that's 120 lbs). Now I'm at four bottles and still going

Years ago prior to MFP, I started at a gym, walking on a treadmill. 2MPH was an easy walk, 3MPH was a struggle then. I got away from the gym and the good habits and fell back into the old ones, put a bunch of pounds back on. When I finally decided to get in (better) shape for my wedding, I went back to the gym and started…

I would use this to make stuffing for Thanksgiving... and any other day I want sausage stuffing!

Any time you see a snack and want it? Drink water. Keep a large glass in the kitchen and fill it every time you think you want a snack. The colder the better. Stay full :)

"You're less fat than you used to be"... *le sigh*...

Never seen American wine in a can... never seen wine in a can, period, anywhere in the US.

Real butter is seriously the only way to go. Margarines and other butter substitutes are loaded with nasty stuff. I used to use them, and ate them all the time growing up, because they were "lower in calories"... but at what cost? If you really want to go old school, make your OWN butter out of cold cream, it's intense.…

I'm on my third wedding band and I haven't reached my first anniversary yet (thank whatever you believe in for lifetime care plans, best money I ever spent!).

My excuse is that I work in e-commerce and I know that there's really no such thing as a sale, free shipping, discounts, or a retail price. :)

Go get it, man. I remember when I first tipped a scale over 400 and it blew my mind. Now, 2 years later, I'm at 245 and still losing. You can totally do it. Cheers!

Having the same issue. Pain both at the base of my spine around the tailbone and near my pelvis beneath my bottom. If I'm not the only one, then that's got to be it. I haven't changed anything else (as if changing your entire lifestyle to lose 150+ lbs is no big deal, right?). Posture change helps me temporarily, and I'm…

As I've been tracking, my goal has always been 1750, since I've started. Even with exercise, I've been over by more than 1000, but I don't remember how far it was. In the last 90 days, the worst I've had is 2610 (+860).

I was shocked when I started. It was terrible. Now I know better.

^^ This. I try to flush my system of excess salt by "over-watering" twice a week. I don't recommend that for everyone, especially if you don't work in an environment where you can use the restroom (very) frequently, but it works for me.

My favorite NSV is when the host at the restaurant asks "Booth or table?" and I don't have to care where they seat us.

Ruby Tuesday Hickory Bourbon Chicken - delicious. 250 calories for the chicken, and two good-for-you sides are broccoli and sugar snap peas. I think the whole thing ends up <400. If you get the salad bar just watch you don't overdo it on the bad stuff (cheese, bacon, dressing, etc.).

Congratulations! I only started MFP in July of last year but I bought a scale exactly one year ago today and the numbers on it shocked me!! And now, 365 days later, I too have dropped 80 pounds using MFP! You have so much to be proud of. Kudos to you!

Thanks!

Probably not the BEST topic for me, but I completely sympathize with all of you because I'm the first one in here trying not to be the fat GROOM. The goal in my ticker is my wedding goal, and I have until October to get there. I hope it's doable!

My usual is a homemade breakfast sandwich: 1 serving (0.25 cup) egg substitute, a thin slice of deli ham, 1 slice cheese of choice (I prefer muenster), and a whole grain deli flat roll (Arnold, Pepperidge Farm or the like). Good fiber and good protein for me to make it from my breakfast at 7 to lunch at 12:30 without…
