Showery Hot. Lol.

Can't wait! I normally do the half-marathon, but doing the 5k this year... trying to get a new PB- a sub-20 5k. We'll see how it goes! See you there!

Pretty much everything that's in your diary is fast food/high fat (cheese!)/processed. ...you need to seriously decrease the amount of the above items, and incorporate more fruits/veggies/un-processed food into your diet. Even McDonald's has salads and fruit options... There are many great suggestions that can be found in…

I've done the Lara Croft thing....and that was SO much fun!
-
Are you doing any strength training? If so, you may have gained muscle mass, but decreased fat...so basically, your body composition may be changing (yay!) and eventually weight loss will come, with the increase in lean muscle mass.

No, don't waste your money. Have a cup of coffee beforehand and you're set..... many pills contain caffeine too, but way more than you need. Don't put your heart/health at risk and give-in to gimmicks and "magic pills". Have a cuppa Joe, train, and eat at a deficit and you'll see results. Good luck!

Speed...n cars. Fast N Furious.

22:20 was my best, in 2011 (I think). Going for a new PB in May at the Ottawa Race Weekend.

Ghosttown Stout, from Quebec. Absolutely hideous beer.... normally I love stouts but this one blows. I actually gave it to a fellow beer-lover as a prank..... they didn't appreciate it either. Haha.

Ottawa, ON here!

Ridiculous? I don't think so... each to their own. I felt like I wanted a little extra resistance in the class and that is how I achieved it during some tracks. Since my original post I no longer use them, nor do the others that orginally did....as per the request of the instructor. I was happy to comply, and now enjoy…

Wow, congratulations! That is simply outstanding. Your hard work and determination show phenomenally. I hope that through this, you will also gain confidence and know that if you can achieve something of this caliber, you can do ANYTHING with the willpower that YOU possess. Fantastic work.

Oh, and Ottawa here :-D
-
Whoa! I know 2 people in Paris, ON. Up until last year I hadn't even heard of it. Haha.
-
Lol.... Mmmm....Beeeeeeeeeer
-
I'm running the 1/2 also :-). Ran it last year... Not really following any "set" training plan, but I've been running 10k's at the Lake every other weekend or so.... Can't wait! Their post-race "soldier packs" were excellent last year. And there were free Michelob Ultra beer hand-outs :-)
-
Haha! Nope...maybe too hot of an oven, or kept them in too long? At least the house smelled nice afterwards! :-D
-
I'm a lean A-Cupper, and don't really have a choice but to prefer it :-P. If my boobs got bigger, so would everything else and that is not what I wish for myself at the moment. This is why there are padded bras.... they are my friend. :-D
-
I rolleblade along there all the time :-). Hopefully We'll all bump into eachother one day....thought not at once..... that would hurt....

DING DING DING! Couldn't agree more. From what you say, she's not achieving her goals in the best/healthiest way possible, so though she's getting quicker results, it doesn't sound sustainable. Keep logging and exercising, and you're sure to see results soon. Is your diary open? Perhaps you need to re-evaluate your goals…

Love any of Jillian's DVD's, as well as: -Personal Training with Jackie Warner (various- Circuit Training, 30-Day Fast Start, and Xtreme Timesaver Training). -Shape's 400-Calorie Workout DVD -Jari Love's Slim and Lean DVD They are all in a very similar style to JM workouts, shirt (HIIT) and EFFECTIVE!

Hey! I actually have an older version of exactly that one- I have a Polar F4.... which I got off of a Used site for 30$, cuz the chick selling it upgraded to a GPS one. It's worked wonders for me. The equivalent one would be exactly the one you mentioned- The Polar FT4. Don't go too fancy, cuz you'll spend boatloads of…

Sweet, never hear of that site.... thanks!

Hey! We're pretty close in stats- I'm 5'0" and 115lbs. I exercise regularly, and usually burn around 125 calories per session (level 2 modified with tougher moves) and Level 3 of the Shred. It's a great DVD! Have fun! But yes, my advice would be to invest in an HRM to calculate how much YOU burn depending on your fitness…

Hahaha. SO true about the light beer. I'm into Porters and Stouts myself- THE best, IMO....on the off-chance that I drink light beer I go for Michelob Ultra. Man, we don't have cool skinny drinks or shots up here. There is so much variety down south!
-
That's kind of like what I'm doing today, though I tend to eat a larger breakfast or lunch, then a smaller dinner....
-
Nice! We don't have that up here, and just started having Michelob Ultra available before the summer- I actually like it, for a "light" beer. I don't usually have mixed drinks, but Caesars are on the menu tonight. At least they'll contain a few servings of vegetables! Hahaha.
