I am 26 and no kiddos. I am looking to lose about 16 pounds. The worst part is sticking with it every day!

I am really considering a pesco-vegetarian diet with a heavy emphasis on raw veggies. The only thing is I would not follow a special diet at someone else's home.

I am a night shifter but switch to days most weeks. I sleep at random times because of this. I count calories from 0000-1200 and 1200 to midnight. I don't think it makes a difference

Drink 1-2 cups while preparing food in the kitchen and with each meal. Every little bit helps!

First off, I have good weeks and some not so good. I work 12.5 hour shifts with a 3 hour commute. I fully understand that time is a problem. I have individual packs of lightly salted edamame, seaweed snacks and mini bags of popcorn. Boiled eggs are quick. Heck, I have taken a can of drained chickpeas and thrown in a little…

I tend to not want them the day that I exercise. The next day I am ravenous so I make up for it then.

For baking you can try applesauce and bananas.

You can always have fish. Make sure to eats different veggies so it isn't always exactly the same thing. I don't worry about carbs in fruit and veggies. I try to limit traditional carbs like rice, pastas, bread, especially refined white stuff

I make stir fry. Whatever veggies I feel like, chopped meat or nuts/seeds. Add garlic, tiny ginger and salt. Imitation crab and veggies wrapped in seaweed

Not normally but we sure we're thinking about it!

Diabetes sucks because fruit is even on the bad list. I think you just need to remember moderation when it comes to it. I would love to tell patients this: go to a nursing home and see what happens if you don't control your sugars. Amputation is no joke. I doubt you are that bad if your sugars are rarely triple digits.

Haha. I just thought to share. I was in a cute little Pilates class with some nice music going. All of a sudden we hear LOUD grounding on the other side of the closed door. We start giggling and someone is like we should grunt too. Pilates is fun

I don't work out something if I am super sore. Maybe do a little cardio or work an area that isn't sore already

My guess is you are petite. I am short and a little weight looks like I lost a ton. 1-2 lbs a week is perfectly fine

Squats will build up the muscle under the fat. Muscle burns more calories than fat but your legs may be temporarily bigger because of the added muscle. Once you start losing weight, you will really be able to appreciate the muscle that you built up along the way

For lunches, I make dinner food a lot and bring it to work. Left overs are perfect. I love stir fry with meat and veggies for lunch. I am not a huge fan of rice so I skip that part. I throw whatever veggies I feel like in a pan with some protein and cook it up a little before work.

A mechanic. I really don't know why that was the first thing I thought of :flowerforyou:

Eternity ring equals long term committed relationship regardless of a desire to be formally married. I am 26 and I know a lot of people that are in substantial committed relationships with no desire to get legal paperwork stating they are committed. Maybe it is just a younger generation not caring so much about the…

I am not at all opposed to asking questions. I would just ask where you guys stand.

An egg! Or cut it into strips and dip the strips into hot sunnyside up yoke...

I try to use my calories towards healthier food options like whole grains, protein, fruits and vegetables. It makes it easier to stay on track

There is something sexy about someone that loves things so permanently that he will tattoo it on his body. I have no tattoos. Who knows what I will be into 5 years from now

Nuts. Heck you can keep them in your pocket. Not a lot of protein is that easy

Just wear a thin cover up over whatever bathing suit
