Kudos to you and your mom! Asking for help was so brave of her. I, too, have an autoimmune disease, RA. Within 3 days of changing my diet, taking out processed foods and limiting sugar, I had a huge decrease in my pain levels...from a daily 5 threshold to a 1/2. I'm really hoping your mom feels some relief with a healthier…

Success isn't measured by how many times your fall, it's about how many times you get back up. :)

Wonderful NSV! I travel quite a bit for hockey and horse shows with my kids...it is hard to stay focused while out of a normal routine. Kudos to you!

Firstly, congratulations on making it so far and continuing to work towards your goals. I have some joint damage due to an autoimmune disease. I find that swimming is the most pain free workout for me. Obviously, discuss this with your doctors before trying any new exercises.

I'm sorry that you've had a rough time. Kudos to you for being proactive and reclaiming your health...both physically and emotionally. Congratulations on starting your journey to a healthier you! As a former smoker, I know it is a hard thing to quit. "Never quit quitting" was my motto...been smokefree for 16 years. You can do it.

Don't despair! It wasn't until around the 35 lb mark that people started to notice. More important than people noticing was how much better I felt emotionally and physically. Stay with it, it will be worth it!

I'm so sorry that you're suffering from anxiety. It can be debilitating. I, too, have massive panic attacks. Luckily, mine didn't start until I hit 40. Boy, what a huge surprise! I thought I was having a stroke...scariest moment of my life. Exercise makes a huge impact on how often I have them. Swimming is my go to…

Congrats! Nice to feel accomplished and looking good! In the past, my reflection has caught me off guard in a negative way. Like, "who is that fat chick wearing the same clothes as me?!?"

Congratulations! That's a big nsv, in my opinion. As kids we ran with joy and without a second thought. It's nice to feel that again as an adult!
