I'll raise you...look up the South Park shake weight episode.....

Start with #1 hoping to get to #3 and then to #5

LOL, I have this feeling that with Jane....that's not going to happen. I also hope you don't die of a stroke either....I was lucky enough to have one at the ripe old age of 35. Wasn't a lot of fun.
-
Yes....if you initiate it :)
-
And that is normally in the case of serious or rare diseases/injuries.....not an ambulance ride. It's the same reason the ER is so busy on the weekend from walk-ins. They know the system, they can't be denied service and most likely will never be on the hook for the bill.
-
So do people in the states.... It's not like they run your insurance and do a credit check before you go. If you honestly can't pay, that will usually end up going to the state in some way/shape/form.

Ya...the last company I was at had BCBS then after getting bought out they made us switch to Aetna...awful. Glad to be at another company and back to BCBS (at about 1/2 the price of Aetna)
-
@100_PROOF_ I'd jump in that thread too. I noticed the same thing from the same user in another thread and asked the same question with no answer. If that thread has been started, can someone point me in the general direction?
-
I have BCBS as well. They have really...really good affordable coverage. I don't think we're 40-60 though, pretty sure it's closer to 20-80 or 30-70.

Meh, I do alright with my healthcare. I had a stroke 4 years ago, ran up over $150K in medical bills and ended up paying a total of $1,800 (and a free 45 min ambulance ride  ).

OK, just wanted to check as your diary only indicates about 1100 calories daily of nutritionally dense food.
-
Just throwing this out there as I'm not sure how meticulous your diary is, but if I were only eating about 1100 calories a day (not including deserts)....ya, I'd be having massive cravings too.
-
Then you don't understand how the tool "MFP" works. I think it's kind of distorted to compare properly fueling your body to that of walking to McDonalds for a BigMac. If I didn't eat back my calories, I'd come up with a net of 0-300 cals everyday. I don't see that as the most healthy.

I find it strange there is no footprint or note from a mod.... Also editing to quit the obtuseness, I saw the post before going to the gym. After getting to work and catching back up on MFP shenanigans, I noticed that, from what I remember, post is basically completely re-written. Still kind of wondering how the OP edited…
-
Strange, I'm not sure why....or the bigger how anyone could go in and anonymously edit user posts.
-
Rather than be the one to ask for sources, irony of your insults, etc....etc...etc... I've become more interested in....how in the hell were you able to edit your post 6 hours after initially posting it? Editing to verify that indeed, mine says we have an hour.

No HYE been tied up?
-
Ya...not particularly. I didn't make it past the first line of his website. http://www.insuliniq.com/
-
OMG...eyes.
-
Agreed, another knowledgeable member whose voice will be missed on the boards.
-
Absolutely
-
Wow...I'm glad I don't have to shop at the same grocery store you do.
-
We all know what the evil sodium bicarbonate from those fast food restaurants will do to you.....
-
That's fair...and I don't disagree. I'd still like to know more about the OP's stats though. I still find something may be off with a beginner who's eating 2x what she needs to lose weight.
-
^^^This, I was about to ask the same thing. Something sounds skewed in how you set up your profile/goals.
-
Um....wut? In the best shape of my life I was considered "overweight" by the BMI scale and my BF% was around 10-12%. I tried to get into a normal BMI, I got about 7-10lbs away and just looked imaciated. I ended up recomping and adding about 7-9 to get back to an "overweight" BMI. I looked (and felt) so much better.
