Thanks both, I think you might be right with the waiting. I know I can do it but maybe it's more my head as I can't remember when I last went so many days with no work out!!

Very true and I understand your point but in the lasagne case it's not just the meat you are buying for one pound, it's meat, butter flour milk and cheese or whatever they make their white sauce with, tomatoes spices flavourings for the tomato sauce, plus chemicals to preserve and whatever else they decide to put in, more…

Im afraid Im a little bit of a snob when it comes to processed burgers, ready made meals etc and think that if you buy a lasagne for 1quid you kind of get what you deserve! You certainly get what you pay for. one lady here said her homemade lasagne for 4 costs a fiver and an asda one cost 2quid less, how much better is…

Cake. I hate cake. Any kind of sponge, bleh. The plus side of this was my mum came up with some wonderful alternatives to birthday cakes for me as I was growing up, so much better than cake!!

Hi, I suppose it depends on what you eat, I eat in my work cafeteria every day (when I'm in work I'm actually on secondment at home at the moment) and I only choose things that I know I can get the calories for. Eg, I will make my own salad from the salad bar, get a sandwich made up at the counter where I can choose what…

Hello other similar sized ladies :flowerforyou: I'm 5ft7 and started this year at 172, joined MFP in July at 162, currently at 154. I was always unsure what my goal weight would be, I originally thought 150 but the nearer I am to that I think I would like to aim for 140 - 145.

Thanks kikicooks I will look into those. Primalgirl, thanks some very good suggestions, I'm on level 3 of the shred and if I dont feel like a run I do sometimes do 2 levels at once, will definitely be booking some time with an employee at the gym I think as I have no idea what to do with any of the weights! sijomial, yes I…

Hi, I think this is personal preference, I go to the gym for 7am most mornings and literally get out of bed 15 minutes before I start running on the treadmill, I tried eating in the past but it makes me feel sick!

A bun and some pins for the front bit works best for me as I hate it when the ends of my ponytail get sweaty from hitting my back! Or something which looks slightly different, a high ponytail but the last time you are pulling through the band only go halfway so you have a kind of folded tail with the ends still secured if…

Hi, I'm on day 3 of level 3. When I started I thought level 1 was ok, not as bad as I had anticipated but a very good workout. When I moved on to level 2 it felt like level 1 was just a warm up for level 2 now it feels like 1 and 2 are warm ups for level 3! I spent 15 days on level 2 as my upper body strength wasnt great…

Hi all, I am on day 5 of level 2 and I now officially hate the plank position!!! When I started level 2 I thought there was no way I could do this, I'm quite competitive with myself though and think in another 2 days or so I will be able to do the whole work out as it should be without the need to drop to my knees once out…

Hi, I'm 27, 5ft7 tall and current weight is 162, my target weight is 150 although any lower and I wouldnt be complaining! I'm quite new to mfp and find 'dieting' tough as I love a treat now and then and so I prefer to work out and hence still getting used to eating back my exercise cals. I'm getting married in December…

Hi, you have pretty much posted exactly my situation too! I am eating healthily and trying to eat back my exercise calories but like you find that I have about 200- 300 left at the end of most days. I am doing the 30 day shred every day and going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week as well where I am doing a 3k run on the…
