4.5% difference is body fat is very impressive. You must have worked hard!

Those are great results! Congratulations!

Day 7 done!

Day 6 done! Today I upped the weights to 4 pounds. My arms were killing me towards the end! I can still feel the burn and i'm loving the feeling!
-
Day 5 done! Haven't lost any weight yet.

You can also do the Bridge for strengthening your core. Most importantly, be patient. Hopefully you'll be a lot better in 2-3 weeks. In my case, sitting made it worse. So even though I have to sit at a desk for 8-9 hrs every day, I try to get up up an walk every hour or so.

Couldn't do shred yesterday as my back was very sore. I did day 4 today. I'm doing a lot of stretching, but my middle and lower back have been hurting. I also walked 4 miles today. :)

Great news! Congrats!

Hi! Sorry to hear about your back injury! They are the worst. I have had herniated disc in my lower back twice in the past. The 1st time I wasn't working out at all, but the 2nd time was when I'd just started working out and really wanted to continue that. What really worked for me was working with a physical therapist…

I would not have imagined that 35 pounds could make such a huge difference. You look great.
-
I took a break today from shred. Ran a mile and walked for an hour.

I went shopping today. Most of my tops are loose and shapeless since I've lost 19 pounds since mid October and have toned a little too. I bought 4 tops all size Medium! That's a huge success for me. I used to be L or XL depending on the brand. And at my highest weight, my clothes had started to become too tight! I have to…

Thanks! I will try them out after the shred. I've always wanted to do kickboxing. Can someone who's never done kickboxing before do that video?
-
You definitely will! I've been getting so many injuries ever since I started piling on the weight. And by the way, my husband has plantar fasciitis in both feet too. He recently lost 20 pounds and it's getting much better. He has 10 more to lose and is hoping it might get to a point where he doesn't even notice it much!

Thanks a lot for all your answers! You guys rock!

Awesome! Would love to hear your opinion on the other Jillian videos! Which one would you recommend after the shred? Currently, even level 1 shred is tough for me. So I'm looking to gradually increase my strength.
-
My routine will be similar to yours. Running 2 mile intervals twice a week. Walks on the other days.
-
I'm walking a lot as well. Atleast an hour every day. Enjoy your precious walks with your baby! That's so cute! :)
-
Day 3 done! Yay!
-
Day 2 done! I did it before work today so pretty proud of myself. Are you guys doing some other cardio/workouts on top of the shred?
-
I did day 1 today. I'm doing modified push-ups and I still have to stop midway. :( Abs are the easiest except for the bicycle one. That one is a killer. Cardio is the worst for me. I just can't do those many jumping jacks.
-
That's a lot of progress in 4 weeks! Keep it up!
-
Awesome! Congrats!

So I should eat less of the healthy lunch that I prepared so that I make my coworkers happy by eating the goodies they baked? Maybe I'm just dumb, but this makes zero sense to me!
-
Wow! She must have been really jealous.
-
This amazes me. I can't believe that 4 kgs can make such a difference!

I get a latte everyday too. I get a non-fat tall latte and make it fit in my calorie goals. One can't be perfect. It's ok to have this habit as long as you account for it. Also, this is a lifestyle change for me rather than a diet, so I want to make changes that I can sustain. Couple of times I get a herbal tea instead of…

I will take rest days in between. I'm thinking 3 days on and 1 day off. Apart from this, I'll try to get atleast 30 mins walk everyday and maybe run a couple of miles (intervals) twice a week.
