Ran my first 10k this Sunday. I was really scared and was considering not showing up. But I went and completed it. :)

Thank you! That sounds like a great plan! Very best!

That is awesome! You look great - very fit! Just curious, why do you say you still have a lot of work to do? What is your final goal? I'm only asking because I think we have similar heights. I'm 5 ft 5 in and 4 pounds away from normal bmi. :)

Congrats! That's a great success story!

Thanks so much for all the info. This is really good advice. You're totally right about home cooked meals. I believe they make a lot of difference. Thanks again!

Congrats on a job well done! That's huge! Good that you kept some old clothes. Being able to wear some item that you loved is the best feeling! How long did it take you to achieve this? Could you share a little about your routine? I would love some tips that I could use. I seem to have hit a plateau after losing 22 pounds…

You look very pretty in your Before pic too. But the post transformation pic is mind blowing! Great job! Congrats on your success! How long did it take you to achieve those results? Did you ever hit a plateau? How many calories were you eating? My goal is to lose 50 pounds as well. I started at 190 5ft 5 in and have lost…

Good job! Speedy recovery to you!

Loved reading your blog! You are extremely motivated. And I love what a positive person you are!

Congrats! You look great!

@AliciaJade93: You're doing an awesome job! I didn't do the shred today. Went for a 2 mile run instead followed by a long walk. And tomorrow, I think I'll take a rest day. I haven't taken a rest day this week and joints are beginning to complain. :) Tuesday onwards, ready to attach the shred again. :)

Me too. That thing scared me for a min! @Gilmourlaura : Congrats on your success!

Did day 1 of level 3 today to spice things up! And then also did day 9 of L 1. If only I can get 1 more day of level 1 in, I'll be happy! This group has kept me super motivated. I had started shred multiple times in the past, but never got past week 1. This time I will complete it. Thanks to all of you for keeping me…

Level 3 day 1 done! I still have 5 days of level 2 left but I wanted some change. It was tough as expected but I still liked it better than L 2. That one is a killer! I hate those non-ending planks!
-
@AliciaJade93: Awesome! Good job! Just did Day 5 Level 2. Halfway done! :)
-
That takes a lot of willpower. You deserve to be proud of yourself. And being able to own such moments keeps you stronger when the next temptation turns up.
-
L2 Day 4 done. Also did day 8 of level 1 today. Feeling great. Upper back seems better! How's it going for you ladies?
-
Have already started shred level 2. But since I had not completed 10 days of level 1, went back and did day 8 of level 1 today.

No it won't. But it has to be HER decision. Why should she feel obligated to eat a cookie everyday just because someone else thought she should eat them? Giving them away is a great option. And if I were you, I would just do it in front of him. And then gently explain to him that you are very serious about weight loss.

Level 2 day 3 done! Upper back started hurting again in the last circuit and so did bicycle crunches instead of the plank twists. I'm doing extra warmup for the knees and the back. Hopefully that'll help.

@eml298 @goofydee30 How about we create a group?

I have lost 20 and have 30 more to lose to get down to 150. My height is 5 ft 5 ". This is my 2nd time on mfp. First time around, I was really good with exercise but not at all with clean eating. I let health take a backseat while work, family, friends always got the priority. This time, I'm very focused. 8 yrs of bad…

My upper back was feeling so sore today that I didn't do the plank twists at the end. Instead, I did the bicycle crunches from level 1. Hopefully, my body will get used to it in a couple of days.
-
Level 2 day 2 done. Any of you feeling it in ur upper back? Mine is sore near the shoulder blades, I think it's because of the numerous plank movements.
-
A month! A month! That takes dedication. Awesome job!
-
Great job! Congratulations!
-
Level 2 day 1 done! I hate the chair squats with arm raises.

At College, a "friend" once asked me what the name was of my medical condition. When I told her that I had no medical condition she pretended to be taken aback and said "then why are your thighs so big?" Since this I've been very self-conscious about my things.

Your aunt sounds like a bi***. I have an aunt like that. She's always criticizing me for my features, my complexion, my body, my clothes. As a kid I took it all and pretended to not feel hurt. But the last time I saw her I told her off so much that she was almost reduced to tears. One of the best moments in my life!
