Mine started around 2 months post op. I ended up having to get my hair cut shorter because I was losing so much hair. I have extentions now to give it some volume and with the amount I'm losing I'm expecting to need a wig before it stops.

90 lbs = newborn calf

I do this as well. I ate a lot of mashed potatoes/cauliflower/sweet potatoes in this statge and added the unflavored protein powder for extra protein. Sounds weird but I also added it to my jello and pudding mixes too.

I went down the slide with my daughter! I never would have been able to do that 6 months ago.
-
Yes! I used to go pretty much all winter without a coat and now I'm soo cold that I had to go buy one!
-
Good luck! So exciting that everything is coming together and you have a date set.

LOVE your hair twin!

I've had super thick hair my whole life too (WAY prior to me gaining all the weight) and my hair is falling out at rapid speed. I'm getting very self concious about it and actually thought of just shaving it all off and going to get a wig that looks like my hair now!

Thanks everyone. I go back to the doctor in a few weeks for my 3 month post op so I'll talk to him then. I really miss my coffee! Other than spicy foods, I haven't has any issues at all with my pouch.

Definitely trying this! Sounds so yummy

A little over a week for me to be pain free.

I think I love you right now....

Ditto to this...I'm not losing weight but my body is getting smaller. I've had a ton of stalls in the 2 months since surgery
-
I'm in a stall myself. I'm about 7 weeks out and have lost 20 lbs since surgery. I just got the OK to exercise but I haven't yet since it doesn't really fit into my schedule yet. I know I'm not getting enough water/fluids lately so I think that might be part of the problem. Very frustrating!

I use these too. If I take the regular ones, I also vomit! Definitely agree with taking with food or milk as that coats the stomach. I span out all my vitamins so I'm not taking them all at once.
-
I pretty much had to do everything that Homer had to do for my pre-op. I'm a little over a month out and just had my restrictions lifted so now I can start exercising. This group is awesome. I've learned so much from this fabulous group of people.

I had surgery on Wed 7/23/14, and was back to work Monday 8/11/14. I could have done back sooner but I didn't want to rush it too much (and I enjoyed being off in the summer!)
-
I got them from my doctor so I assume they are OK. They pretty much do the same thing; one is just easier on the stomach.
-
Have you tried the calcium chews that taste like candy? I've been taking the Viactiv Carmel Chews and they are fabulous and taste sinful but are good for you!

I get "yelled" at every day for being under my calories for the day but I haven't had an issue where it wouldn't let me complete the entry. We are on the same track so maybe it will start doing that to me soon! You can adjust your settings for your calorie goals for the day and see how that goes.

I'll have to try that. Wendy's chili is one of my favorites

Ohh..I had never heard of that card! I will need to ask for one at my next appointment. I tried to order from the kids menu out the other day and they wouldn't let me. I just ordered a regular meal and made my daughter share rather than getting her own meal. Personally, I think you did really well on your trip. You got in…

 Thanks for the ideas everyone. I'll have to try out some more things to see what I can "stomach"

I was craving meatballs until I hit this stage....now I dread eating food at all. It takes me forever to eat and I'm definitely not getting in enough fluids. I've been able to eat eggs and I made a bit of chicken salad as bland as can be but that's been about it with foods I can chew. Thinking of staying in the puree stage…
-
I just finished that stage and I'm not on what my doctor is calling "soft foods" - cheese, soft veggies, eggs, lunch meat, meatloaf, meatballs, tuna/chicken salads, etc. I can't stand the taste of ricotta or cottage cheeses so I've been staying away from those. I've been living off mashed potatoes with added protein for 3…

I'm dreading my hair falling out! I already lose a ton when I take a shower. I lost a lot when I had my daughter too and found that my hair came back a little different . BTW - Love you new picture

I was thinking the same thing when I saw you posted this! I went to a support group pre-op and the girl that was guest speaking had a severe case of PCOS prior to her sleeve and 2 years later, she has no symptoms at all. Gives us all hope!
-
I love this answer!

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18. It's always been hard for me to lose weight. So far the sleeve has been working for me.
