I pre-log the day before. It helps me pack my meals (breakfast, snacks and lunches are all away from home) and stay on track. I typically know what my morning activity burns will be, so it's not a huge deal to make adjustments. However, I've started working out in the evenings some days, and this is proving to be a bit…

Right now, girl scout cookies. Throughout the year, ice cream, frozen yogurt, dark chocolate, and of course, wine.

I had cereal for dinner last night. :drinker:

If you can't run outside, you may consider running on ab1% incline. It will help prepare you for the 5k, since roads, no matter how flat they seem, are not completly flat. Good luck!

It's all about the legs, for me. I would suggest asking someone who's experienced to help with your form. Incorrect form with tire flips could cause issues with your back. Good luck! By the way, I love using the sledge hammer :).

I miss step! I also miss the amazing calves it have me.

4:30 workouts for me...it gets easier. 5:45 sounds a lot nicer!

Good luck!

Five weeks is a long time to not feel part of the group. Kindergarteners do tend to get attached to each other, and I would expect things to get better once first grade starts. But, as a teacher, it's important to keep tabs on the social life of a new student. Have you tried talking to the teacher, or have you just spoken…

This works for me too, first liquid, then powder, then my fruit. Otherwise, it's clumpy,

I love my PT! I do take a small group personal training class to save some cash, but I honestly don't feel like I'm missing anything. While on the hunt for one, just share with him/her your goals, and what you would like out of the partnership. As for crying, I've been there and done that, but I've pushed through it and…

I was in front of my second grade class teaching a lesson, when I felt something fall down my leg. Of course, it was my skirt. I was lucky enough to have shorts on. My boss walked in a few minutes later, and of course they all shouted it out to him. :blushing: Three years later, they are still talking about it and a few…

I didn't experience any gain with my pill, but everyone is indeed different. I'm sure you can discuss it with your doctor. Mine said to try the pill first, and if I had weight gain issues, she'd be more than happy to re-evaluate.

I follow every drink with a glass of water. It helps me stay hydrated, I feel better the next morning, and I tend to drink less this way.

If you buy one with a chest strap, it will come with the watch, but the watch doesn't have to be worn on your wrist. I put mine on the handlebar of the bike when I'm taking a spin class. I would assume you could put it in your pocket, though it wouldn't be readily accessible.

Well said, this is me too.

My mom made a rice bag for me, just rice sewn into a piece of fabric. I warm it up in the microwave, and the moist heat does wonders! Helps with my migraines as well :).

Right :)

Yes, it is most likely water. Starting a new exercise can cause that. Woman issues can as well. Try upping your water a bit more and give it a few weeks. :)

Higher sodium will reflect on the scale, which can be a real buzz kill.

I plan my meals a week ahead of time, snacks included. It helps me to focus at the grocery store. Then I log everything the night before and make adjustments the day of based on calories burned, or if I ended up eating differently! It especially helps since Im away from home 10 hours of the day.
-
If your goal is 1200 a day and you are only sometimes eating exercise calories back, it could be that you are just plain and simply hungry. You could try upping your daily goal by 100-200 calories a day and see if that helps. Good luck!

Me :). I spoke with my trainer and she said it just happens with some of us. It completly freaks me out!

My boyfriend is working on a ranch this summer. He came home 15 pounds lighter after the first two weeks. Of course I was happy for him, but I'l admit im a bit nervous he'll end the summer lighter than me!
