I believe Phentermine gets a bad rap. It's not for everyone much like any prescription drug, it works for some people and some have bad experiences. Does it make you "speed"? For some it does, others may have a different reaction. My wife for example tried it once and declared it to be a better sleep aid than Zzquil. I…

Its a good tool for weight loss but not for long term. Its very useful in helping set healthy eating habits but maintaining those healthy habits after the prescription has run out or your body has become adjusted to it is where the real work begins. In the beginning some people tend to eat way less than they should,…

I love the show and recently watched the first and second season on itunes. Totally addicted and awaiting season 3 to come out on apple tv. Heart broken to see Ned die at the end of the first season and it left me feeling like season 2 couldnt possibly hold a candle to the first. I mean come on, whats a medieval movie…

I'm curious if it is under estimating or over estimating. I know during a cardio only night, the HRM built into the stationary bike I use matches heart rates perfectly with the polar I am wearing at the time. The calorie burn count is a huge difference though, usually off by 100+ calories. The polar being the source…

I've got over 100 lbs to lose total and would welcome new friends. Who wouldn't like more motivation and support as well as giving it back. Anyone can add me!

Feelin the guilt tonight. I ate back my exercise calories, something I dont normally do considering that I am eating at a deficit. There is always tomorrow to right the wrongs...

I started for several reasons. First and most importantly, its pretty much the same reason I stopped smoking 2 years ago and that reason is so I could be a good father to my two year old daughter. I kept thinking how in the world am I going to keep up with this child when she gets older if I cant even get up off the floor…

Go ahead, a cheat day every once in a while doesn't hurt a thing. Start fresh tomorrow and get right back on track. It took my wife forever to talk me into a cheat day because I had such guilt over it. Now we have a twice a month cheat day. Nothing crazy, just out to eat somewhere we normally wouldn't. Have fun with your…

New to this so here I go. Down 1.6 lbs this week, 41 lbs total since 3/3/13 Maybe this will help renew my slowly falling motivation.

41 here. I have a 2 yr old daughter who I know I will have to keep up with as she gets older, plus I want to be around for her a long long time. Gah losing weight seemed so much easier in my twenties.

Car and bike enthusiast here. I've owned 2 mustangs, one of which was blown, a camaro and about 4 different sport bikes. Gave it all up when I got married and my little girl was born. One day I will revert back to the ways of high horsepower and speed(like when I dont have to keep a car seat in the back). Very nice Dodge…

Can totally agree with the rant here. My wife and I purchased a recumbent bike. After getting it home and putting it together I discovered it had a 275lb limit..WTH? why? Not a problem for my wife who falls far below that, me ..not so much. Still hasnt stopped me from using it but a ridiculous limit non the less
