Thanks for your reply. I'm 98% with this but the 2% of my head is saying wait until after holiday! That way I don't have the mess up of 'overeating' on holiday, and I won't have this bloat for my bikini holiday :( But then whats to say I'll be happy with it after holiday - I'll have overeat bloat plus extra bloat! :)

Thanks. Your both so right. I really want to do this but at the same time after just one day I'm feeling really bloated and uncomfortable. I'm considering sticking to a lower calorie diet for one week before I go then, switching to TDEE for the time I'm away + a few more days, then making the cut.

Well done! I've started today and gone straight into 15% cut as well. I always 'tried' dieting before but never succeeded so don't consider myself someone who has followed a LCD for a long time or anything. Would be extremely happy to see the results you have! Thumbs up :) x

Thanks. I'm on 1900 calories a day so planning to try and sustain that on my vacation next week (12 days!). I have scheduled a break in for 1 week in 6 weeks time to eat at TDEE. Yum - looking forward to it! Lol! ;-)

Hi, I'm new (day 1) but have done lots of research (I've gone through millions of old posts!) General consensus is leave it as it is, its only when its a couple of weeks you miss out that you need to re-assess. Thanks

I guess as its my first week starting EMTLWL today - I don't want to undo my work by week 2 & 3 if you know what I mean, as then I won't be able to gauge whether its working for me accurately by the end of week 4. Thanks! I'm actually going to Maldives so no chain restaurants! :) Will just be standard meals (non-chain based) so I guess I'll put in the diary what I can but guess weights of things. It will be hard to make sure I'm doing macro's tho as likely to be tracking AFTER eating etc. Will it be OK to focus on the calories alone…

Hi, I'm 24, female, 5'3.5 and burn around 150 calories doing 30 day shred. Hope that helps - I wear a heart rate monitor to work this out.
