Saturday afternoon/Sunday. Fitness is "life stuff." Any day you don't get home at 10pm.

Your abs maybe also not be as tensed since you're not working them. If you were always working them you may have subconsciously been keeping them tighter.

I don't know why but I expected something less SFW when I was opening this thread.

I don't even hit 10k steps after a day with a 3.5 mile run, 10k is a good amount. That being said I find that a workout takes less time than getting in a lot of steps so I prioritize the workout. Prioritizing the dog and still being active is probably better for both of you right now, though.

It works out to be both grams and cals, actually, at least on my tubs (25g protein per 31g serving). I don't know how anyone could afford ON isolate on a regular basis. If you're that serious just buy steaks every day with the cash...darn.

If you don't have a food scale then I almost guarantee you are eating more than you think, hence your increased satiety levels at only 1k.

How much do you weigh?

Can I hijack the thread to ask what's the best kind of all around bike to get for mostly residential riding? Are there downsides to mountain bikes?

To be completely honest with you, I truly would love to be helpful in a direct fashion. Helping others is one of the things I enjoy the most. Unfortunately, MFP is a depressing place to be helpful - the time spent writing a nice reply with solid information is often flamed to oblivion. Some of the best posters on here get…

@Sabine_Stroehm reading comprehension and thread wide context go a long way. @Sued0nim gave the OP great examples to meet his goals in a healthy manner and OP whined them away. My post was not serious, but apparently that wasn't clear enough with the binge drinking and all.

I mean this in a nice way but maybe you have less muscle than you anticipated. Did you only run and eat at a deficit?

While this is good advice, lifting is no more dangerous than any other sport. Wanting to lift heavier weights is not always an issue of ego - for some it's a hobby that you can set goals with. These goals are fitness related and can give lifelong benefits and enjoyment. You mention genetic limits - at 66 I believe you know…

Yep, except this OP had already noted in a prior thread that they needed to lose, and the reflection as a whole was for those who are overweight which I didn't think needed pointed out. Thanks, though.

Whenever people post these it makes me wonder how you gained weight to begin with if you are truly satisfied eating as little as you say.

Yes because my response was not flippant and was a 100% serious attempt at giving the OP a fully sustainable diet plan that he should adhere to daily; that approach and has worked well for users such as Sued0nim.
