Maybe they have a higher calorie deficit? This is just my theory....The heavier you are the more calories your body burns per day. Take for example a person who is of a healthy weight and needs 1800 calories a day to maintain their weight, if they eat 1400 calories a day to lose weight, they create a 400 calorie deficit. A…

So many helpful replies! Thanks guys! I was just curious as to what other people are doing. The 1200 thing works during the working week..but comes the weekend and "life surprises" it becomes a little tough. I suppose though I didn't put the weight on over night and it ain't going over night either. Thanks again :)

Try Atkins :) I used to be like this. Atkins makes you severely cut down your carb intake (effectively you are cutting out all sugar and grains). Through Atkins I learned self control.

I'm from Melbourne, I make bad decisions at times, however I try to stick to 1200 cals a day. I have about 20 kg to lose and I'm also looking for local friends :)

I hear you! The only thing that works for me is when I get home from work, cook & eat dinner, go to the gym, come home at 9.00 pm, take a shower and go straight to bed (bypassing the kitchen). So I guess my answer to your question is to not allow yourself any time to snack past dinner. I find that watching TV is a major…
