This! I started out at 190 and have been losing at 1800 calories (5'3" BTW), you don't need to under-eat either! I went through the same thing! Was always active until college etc and I knew I gained weight, but never thought it was that much until I was avoiding pictures! Good luck!

I have heard there a lot of health benefits from using cinnamon, but 90% of the cinnamon you see in the store is cassia cinnamon made from tree bark. The cinnamon that is supposed to have all the benefits is the ceylon cinnamon and it amazing! So much better than the other stuff!

Awesome! Those are the same "rules" I followed too! I never wanted to diet, I wanted to change my lifestyle and do something that was sustainable for me that I could keep doing! Congrats again!

I second the FitBit, it will give you a better idea of your activity level. I thought I was sedentary because I work a desk job, but i burn almost 2200 calories a day, no where near sedentary!

The closer you are to goal and the smaller the amount to lose, the slower the process is. Make sure your weight lose goal on MFP is only set to 1/2 pound per week, anything else is not realistic. Instead of including everything you do through the day, why don't you get some type of activity measuring device. A FitBit, BodyMeadia, etc?

Someone beat me to it, but I was going to say whey is from milk? You may looking in to rice protein or soy powder powders. Add and extra chicken breast, almonds or some other nut.
