Try a different approach. Instead of counting calories cut out sugar and carbs. That really makes a difference for me. Eat as close to nature as you can, lots of green veggies and protein and avoid the carbs and sugar. You could also try doing a small workout in the morning and in the evening to keep your metabolism going.

Pilates! The whole focus of Pilates is the core and if you get a good teacher they will be able to help you gradually strengthen.
