I see the option to remove cardio but not exercise in general. I never noticed all those settings. Thanks!

Never Mind. I am changing my option now if there is one for the exercise to post.

Another MFP member said this to me and it really hit home This is a journey not a race. Perfect.

Correct. That what I was trying to say:) I eat what it tells me since I already accounted for myself being active. The only reason I add my exercise is to track my workouts. I ignore any calories that adds to my daily allowance. Plus my fitbit adds even more so I ignore that too. Its JUST for my own activity tracking…

The only way mfp gives me 1200 is if I set my activity level to sedentary. Thats just ridiculous, I use active since I do work out and chase my kids around and work full time and dont even bother with my exercise calories. Ive been losing well. Even before MFP at 5'6" and 145 i could eat about 1600 and still maintain, with…

I think the biggest factor for those who gain it all back is that people lose the weight on 1200 and then just go back to eating whatever and paying no mind to calories.. In MY opinion if I want the weight to stay off I will be counting calories the rest of my life (adjusting as I see things going one way or the other) and…

Ill always be a sucker for ants on a log, called other thing too I know (celery sticks with pb and raisins)

from someone who cooks for my family I refuse to cook my food seperate. I weigh out the dry pasta and write down exactly how many servings I am cooking. when it is done cooking I drain my pasta very very well. (let it sit for about 5 minutes in strainer above pot) and then weigh the cooked pasta divide that total weight by…

I made this today, but with ground turkey (browned and drained before adding to crock pot, 10 mins while adding the canned stuff) it was delicious! I used two cans of black beans otherwise the kids wont eat kidney beans.

I treat each meal as a new start, so if I overeat like that at breakfast I would just eat my lunch dinner snacks as I planned before I had the big breakfast. I refuse to starve myself (meaning be miserable and having to not feel satisfied, not literally starving) over something as trivial as one bad meal. This is something…

Xanthan gum really helps. U dont need much. I use a bit less than 1/4 tsp for my sknny java chip recipe. 1/2 c almond milk (30 cal) 1/2 c double strength chilled coffee 1 serving chocolate syrup (100 cal) 1 serving chocolate chips (70 cal) 1/4 tsp xanthan gum Ice I add the chocolate chips last. Too much xanthan gum makes…
