It is definitely on my list of reasons why I want to be healthy and fit. My husband and I just got married so we are of course wanting to enjoy our marriage for a little while before we start adding to our family  but that gives me time to get as healthy as I can and be ready for when we decide it's time to start…

That's a wonderful idea I might have to give a go! Except with squats, I will squat haha!

Well my husband and I are having our big ceremony and reception in December and I am no where near where I want to be with my goals, but I am still consistently eating and exercising like I should. Don't overdo it and become so overwhelmed that you ruin all of the fun things that come with planning a wedding. Know you will…

I used to be very negative trying to motivate myself and it did quite the opposite for me. Instead I use positive motivation for myself, including how much stronger I've become, how far I have come, my soaring energy levels, my healthier skin and hair, anything positive that I have noticed I constantly remind myself. Also,…

I am on Day 3 Level 1 and I am already able to tell I am getting a little stronger. I was able to push through most of the strength and cardio exercises, and all of the abs. :)

I didn't think about strength training since I made the assumption that I was get enough strength training from the shred. Thank you for the advice!!

5'5 Started out at 275 recorded weight, could have been a few pounds heavier before I weighed in. Currently sitting at 226.6 Goal is to be in the 170s, would like 175. I would love to hit the 160s, but my healthy weight range for my body shape has always been between 180-170. According to BMI, the heaviest I should be is…

Sugar free hazelnut creamer, non dairy flavored creamer, or skim milk. No sugar. Always measure out the amount of creamer I use or milk.

I originally had gone over halfway to my goal when I started my journey. I was trying to maintain because I hit a tremendous plateau and then life happened, a ton of things were going on at once and I was responsible for taking care of a family because the mother had cancer again. After everything was said and done I…

I use skim milk at work, otherwise I measure out a tbsp of creamer for each cup I have. I either use Sugar free Hazelnut International Delight or powder creamer such as Peppermint Mocha, Coffee Mate. I love flavors, so I always measure it out.

Yes I have been there a number of times. I haven't given in hardly at all recently because I try to compensate for that feeling if nothing else works, by measuring out an amount of whatever I'm craving and just having that and a ton of water. That has helped me, if trying to busy myself while having that feeling does not…

I'm going to school for Atmospheric Sciences and the statement above always irks me, no offense to you, I have heard it so much and 9 times out of 10 it always comes back to bite one in the butt. It doesn't matter that it's 'barely' a hurricane. It's a category 1, which means strong winds over 75mph which is enough to…

WOW!!!!!!!! You looked beautiful before and now even more so! You should be so proud, what an inspiration!

5'5" here, I'm 24 years old. Starting weight was 275, current weight is 230. Goal is 175.

No, unless I have burned 500 calories, in which case I would eat back maybe half, if that.

The best thing about Panera and Subway is that there are LOADS of healthy choices you can make. I personally like to check out their menu online to get an idea of what I want and check the nutrition facts before I go. A cool thing about Panera's website is you can literally 'build' your meal and it will give you all the…

Afternoons between lunch and getting off work are always the hardest for me. I always feel snacky so I try to busy myself as much as possible in the last few hours of work, and I chug the water haha.

Circuit training is the best way to go in order to log in those dvd workouts. I started doing that for the 30 Day Shred and plan to do the same for Insanity. Also you can calculate an estimate of the calories you burned with a particular workout through an online calculator based on your average heart rate, if you don't…

Definitely going to make these soon, looks amazing!

Pushups and tricep dips help soooo much! At least for me, I've been doing a good bit of them on my strength training days and in the past three weeks I've lost an inch and a half around my arms.

We are already married but due to our crazy work schedules and all that jazz our honeymoon will be in April. Also we are having a ceremony and reception for family and friends to join us in December (we had a JOP in September with my parents and a few of our friends, it was beautiful! :D ). So I am trying to drop about…

Stoked! I am a huge HUGE fan of the COD series, have played all of them and sold my first Black Ops and still play MW3 multiplayer. I'm a little weary about BO2 having a more 'futuristic' setting but I'm sure it won't disappoint.

I'm in. I'd love to lose 10 or 12 by Thanksgiving!

Agreed. I have finally accepted that this is a lifestyle, these are my new habits that I am forming and plan to keep. It's never easy, it never will be, but it can become a lifestyle. My health is worth it, and so is yours!

You want to be at least parallel and if you go lower it is easier on your joints. Just take it slow!

I weigh daily after I wake up in the mornings, but I only have an official weigh in day on Friday mornings.
-
Wow you should be so proud of yourself! You definitely lost a great deal of inches too! I have been considering getting the 30DS for a while, this post shows me that I should.

Water water water! That always works for me, along with busying myself and trying to avoid the fact that there is a huge, delicious looking sour cream pudding pound cake right behind my head on the counter. I'm a nanny and this family always has tons of sweets that are very hard to resist, but I do it. It's not easy, but…
