I didn't ditch my cream and sugar. I use non-dairy powder creamer and Splenda. It's 62 calories for 2 tbsp of creamer, Splenda, and coffee. It would be lower if I got the fat free creamer.

And organic is NOT organic. It has to be 95% or less organic and they can use "organic" chemicals that kill off bugs and weeds. As humans, we have lost touch with the basics of food and its process.

Only 10% (I think, it's been a while since I watch "Food Inc.") of soy isn't GMO. Soy farmers are forced to use a company's soy because they claimed it as their own. It's like saying all chicken belongs to KFC and the farmers can only buy KFC's eggs/chicks. The ones who grow their own soy get a fine.

I'm thinking hard about turning vegetarian/vegan. It's going to be hard in a house of meat lovers and milk drinkers. I won't touch soy either because it is a GMO.

If you drink a lot of caffeine, and quit suddenly, you'll get a major headache. If you do small changes everyday. Your body can adjust better.

Is that ADDED sugar? Even fruits and veggies (ie tomatoes, used as a veggie but is a fruit!) have sugar!

I don't drink soda but I heard that you can make ice cubes out of lemon/lime juice or any other juice and put it into club soda. Even artificial sweeter turns into sugar. Carbs are complex sugars. For every Splenda packet I use, I get 1 carb. It is not refined like white sugar so the body has to work harder to digest it.

You put your own starting weight yourself. And it is the goal weight after 10 weeks, not your final weight goal UNLESS it happens to end up that way in 10 weeks.

You're brave to see how many you really eat. I was too scared so I just started to cut back on the higher calorie things such as having sugar in my tea. I drink about a gallon a day. I figured it out later. It was about 1,000 calories from that. :(

I used to feel the same way. Walking up a hill was torture for me. Now after 60 something pounds lighter, I RUN uphill! lol
