Fifth-ed? Extra crunchy is the best. Love love love it. My dog loves it too. Gotta have it every day!

Everyone is different. If you're comfortable at this size that's good. We are close in size. I'm 5'4" & 118. Normal for me in weight is 116 to 122. Above or below I feel yucky. But then again, that's me. You have to find your own place where you feel healthy & comfortable in your own skin. It doesn't matter what anyone…

I have a fitbit zip & boy oh boy am I jealous! I've never hit 20k steps a day. The most I've done is about 13k. I have mine set to sedentary because I'm not really that active. I almost always eat back my calories & more & still maintaining. So the zip must be accurate. At least for me. If you think it's inaccurate play…

I've been using Stevia in the raw for almost a year. No funny taste here. I use it in hot coffee, oatmeal, iced tea & iced coffee among other foods. Not much of a baker so don't really have info on that. But, better for you than Splenda, Equal or any other artificial junk sweeteners.

Try to follow the mfp calorie goal for now. See if it works for you. Try to spread your calories out during the day between your meals & don't underestimate. If it isn't working, try another combination that does work for you. Keep working at it until you're comfy with what you're doing & losing at the same time. Remember,…

I am generally not one to exercise so walking is all I do. I started with my dog for about 15 mins 3 times a day at slow speed. We have increased our speed & distance & still stayed at 20 mins twice a day & then 40 mins once a day. Every day I try to go further. Some days I go farther than others. Going from 0 to walking…

Yes. Be proud of your accomplishment. Go update. You deserve it.

I'm still in the dark ages. I don't have a texting phone. Maybe I should get one. I could have more toned finger muscles. Just what I always wanted!

Growing up I hated bananas. Now...I like them. I try to eat one every day. But they have to be ripe (not rotten all brown). Yummy! I hate banana bread, banana pancakes, banana pudding, any food or drink containing bananas. Gimme plain ol' ripe bananas any day.

That's what I did. I have my daily activity set to sedentary. Then I let the fitbit figure it out. Everyone is different. Do what works for you but be consistent. That's the key.

I have a fitbit zip. It motivates me to make sure that I get in those 10k steps a day. I like that I don't have to figure out how fast I'm walking & trying to remember how long I walked. It automatically gives me the extra calories for it on MFP because they're linked up. No recordkeeping involved. If you don't care about…

^^^This! As soon as I get out the peanut butter jar & before I unscrew the cover my dog is right there waiting for some. She would lick it right out of the jar if I let her. So would I. We both love the extra chunky kind. I don't have it too often because it's too addictive. One tablespoon is not enough & a hundred is too…

Add me too! Add me too! Vegan since June 2013. Vegetarian before that. Love to get new food ideas. My diary is open to friends.

Right now I'm maintaining so I don't get that many comments anymore. But they still come. I get "I guess you're done losing." or "It's about time you stopped" People don't ask me if I'm sick. They go round about & ask another friend if I'm sick. Wonder why they're so indirect. Maybe they don't want to hurt my feelings.…

So sorry you haven't been feeling well. Hope the headaches are gone soon. It's great you have surpassed your goal. That's always a plus. Keep up the good work. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing.

I walk every day 3x a day with my dog. Total miles is between 4.5 & 5 per day. When the weather is too bad (Pacific NW rain) to go out I walk with Kendra Kemerley on InDemand TV. Any way you can burn off calories is a good way. I don't worry that people think walking isn't exercise. I've lost 1" off my waist & thighs just…

Daniel, thank you for your service. The VA has the resources to help you. Ask your VA doctor. They can help you. Joining MFP is a step in the right direction.

Glad to see that you didn't buy into the negativity and you didn't eat over it. You're doing it the right things. Keep up the good work & positive attitude. Enjoy your potluck with hubby. You deserve it.

I usually stop eating by 8 pm & only drink water after that. Otherwise I would probably have an all night bingefest. Everyone's different. Try different times to see what works for you.

Thanks for the Starbucks info. I was thinking of treating myself to a Pumpkin Spice Latte. But not now that I know about the milk in the mix. I'll stick to my soy lattes & iced americanos.

Eating the banana closer to when I start my walk sounds like a good plan. Thanks.

Now that you've answered nevxz what's my solution.

Nice story. She never wavered from her beliefs. Very inspiring! Thanks for posting.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-jonny-bowden/ He also owns Rockwell Nutrition which sells supplements. No surprises there. To lose weight: calories out more than calories in. That's what I did. And I don't workout at a gym but I walk. I try to walk between 4 & 5 miles a day. That's up from 0 - .5 miles per day. Bottom…

Sorry for your losses. I also agree with going for grief counseling. When I lost my husband 3-1/2 years ago I went to a bereavement group sponsored by a local hospital. I built a support group & that was a help too. I'm glad you are reaching out to us on mfp. Friend me. I want to part of your support group.

Bananas! When the skin starts to get speckled they are the sweetest. I used to hate the smell of bananas & now I can't live without them. The only thing I don't like with bananas in them is any kind of banana bread, pudding or cake. Yuck!

Friend request on the way!

120 was my goal weight but then I went down to 118. So maintenance is 118-122. Any more than 122 & it's time to get back to business.

Thanks for the easy recipe. Don't like fried homemade burgers & baked is better anyway. I have some homemade adobo I guess I could use in this. Ingredients already on the list for the next supermarket trip.
