The local produce market's ad comes out Sat for the week starting Sun. I usually plan around that. I shop there on Tues because it's 10% off Senior Day. Glad they don't have those Rainbow Drops here. I would definitely have to try them. My go to food is Jif extra crunchy peanut butter. At 95 calories a tablespoon a 28 oz jar has 4750 calories. Uh-oh! Good idea to pre-log.

I've been vegan since June 2013. Almost a year. Vegetarian for 2-3 years before that. Part time omni before that. I do vegan now for health & ethical too. Trying to get away from processed foods altogether. That's my struggle. Open diary to friends. FR sent your way.

Welcome! I think being vegetarian is one step closer to veganism. If that's your ultimate goal. If not it's okay. You have to do whatever suits you. I found out a few months ago I have diverticulosis too. I think being vegan helps. Sending FR your way. We can do this together!

Thanks brenn for the compliment. That picture is about 6 or 7 years old. I'll try to find a newer one where I look closer to my age. My hair is a little longer & lighter than back then. I wish I could wave a magic wand so no one will look older or heavier than they are. I'm working on it!

I'm also in the Pacific NW bookworm. We've had some nice warm days this past week. In fact, I took out my shorts & they fit! Now all I have to do is tone up my thighs & legs some & I'm on my way. The dog is going to be happier to go on longer walks now that the weather is better. I'm ready for some continuous sunshine!!

My absolute favorite is sugar free vanilla. I use it in my coffee. truly delish! I also use Torani syrups. They are also as good.
