I'm just starting too! I heard there was a C25k group, but I haven't found it yet.

Current Weight: 250 First Goal Weight: 240 Long Term Goal: 199, and I'll assess my health and goals as I go. I'm just restarting. I'm at the heaviest I've ever been. I'm starting with small goals and I'll go from there. I'm not sure how else to determine my "final" goal.

I'm re-starting today and have a similar amount to shed. Feel free to add me. I'm rebuilding my friends list and hope to find people who are also looking to spark up motivation.
-
I'm also a plus sized girl! Please, everyone, feel free to add me. I'm looking for friends and motivation.

That's a great loss!! I'm just getting re-started after a long break, and a giant down slide. I'm hoping to find motivation by stories like yours.

It sounds like your brother, from all of his surgeries and physical challenges has developed (or has undiagnosed) emotional issues as well. I'm certain that change is very hard for him, like it can be for those with autism. I would suggest doing what you can to get him, and yourself, into a therapist who can help with…

I have really been struggling with my goal and progress lately. I would like to have some help in support and I re-focus on my goals. NiceSpydr

I'm hosting dinner at my house. I'm planning on doing my workouts early, and then to bust my bum in the kitchen. Planning dinner lets me select the menu and make sure that there are healthy options. We'll be using ingredients are flexible to use in Post-Thanksgiving recipes that are still healthy, like turkey and veggie…

Very cool. Thanks for the share!

Could have, did, and didn't really miss it. I have given up meat several times, for long stretches and commonly eat Vegan. (I have several vegan friends who don't cook, and swear my house has the best vegan food in town.) The concern, which maybe I missed in the great number of posts, is keeping up your nutritional needs…

I can't believe September is almost over! So far I've lost 4 lbs. I'm really close to my mini-goal for the month, which is exciting and really encouraging. My trip last week wasn't as healthy or tracked as well as my trip at the first of the month. I haven't been logging, but I have been trying to stay active. I also had…

I can't believe that September is almost over! I feel like in general I've made good goal progress, but that it's slipped a little last week while I was in New Orleans. 1- Make time for ME: I got a tiny bit of recreational time in, but not as much as I liked. I'm putting New Orleans on my list of places to go for a real…

I can't believe it's Week 3 already! Where did September go? Starting September Weight: 197 End of September Goal Weight: 192 Goals for the Month: 1- Make time for ME (exercise, decluttering my home office, a long bath, make time to paint, etc.) for at least 15 minutes a day. So far, I'm 50% - 50% on this. I'm not tracking…

4.9 is a really impressive loss. Keep making healthy choices. You're doing great!

Impressive! It looks like you're rocking September, and that feeling under the weather was just a little bump in your journey! Keep up all the great work!

Today's the last day on site with the client, and this afternoon I'm headed home. On my travel day, coming here, I *very* under my calorie goal. Over the week, some days I've been under and some I've been over a little bit. After counting all the + and all the -, I'm still a little under. Hooray for online Boot…

Work Trip, Day 3: In some ways maintaining healthy travel is harder than when I'm home. * It's hard to get "Me" time, Our days in the office are long, work team dinners and "work parties" make those days even longer. * The client brings in breakfast and lunch, and choices are limited. I love the fruit, but avoid the…

Great job! Perhaps you could look at some Paleo diet tips for extra protein. Quinoa is my favorite way to sneak in a little extra when I have the chance to get it.

Goals Progress so Far: 1- Make time for ME: This is going pretty well. Some of my "Me" time has been spent doing errands, and such, but they're things I really needed to do. The night that I spent the least amount of "Me" time included a late visit with my Brother-in-Law who is in a Nursing Facility due to health…

It seems like you're doing some great tracking! Good job picking a healthy end of day calorie boost, to keep your body nourished! I also have a hard time with my measurements, so don't feel too bad. Does the Body Media have a sleep tracker? I'm in the market for an HRM, and I'm highly interested in one of the devices that…

Way to g Ellieover! Those sound like great goals. I'm not quite to the level of tracking my protein ratios, but it gives me something to think about. I may even go back and see how they've been (having not set personal goals) to see how I've been doing. You've got this!

Starting September Weight: 197 End of September Goal Weight: 192 I've been in a rut weight for a while, so this seems like a big goal for the month. Goals for the Month: 1- Make time for ME (exercise, decluttering my home office, a long bath, make time to paint, etc.) for at least 15 minutes a day. 2- Stop "Starting Over"…

Hello September! I weighed in at 197. I hope to make it to 192 by the end of the month. I have several work trips planned for this month. Trips include long days and limited food options (clients always bring in lunch, the team is expected to go to dinner together, etc.) I'm hoping to keep on track, be active where I can…

I randomly found this thread while looking for information on preparing for a biometric screening. I'm not entirely sure what I searched for that brought me to this, but I'm really glad that it did. I found lots of people to have helpful personal insights into their journey. BUMP!! :)

I'm in week 2 of C25k. I'd love to add some running friends, especially those who are also fairly new to running. Please feel free to add me. :)

I just finished W1D3! This thread is pretty inspiring, seeing someone go through all of the different days and challenges. Thanks for sharing your story!
