I step on the scales most days and it can be very frustrating but also motivating. THis week has been frustrating as the scale has only moved .8 pounds, but since I feel like all I want to do is eat I know it is almost that time of the month, which is when I do avoid the scale because it is very frustrating to continue to…

I've been on MFP on and off for a year and a half, and gone thru much stress in the last year that has led to fluctuations in my weight, currently up 10 lbs from 5-6 months ago. I am currently very motivated to get this ten pounds and more off, but at least ten pounds off my June. I used a treadmill as well. You can do it,…

Sleep as well. Up at 4am on weekdays to be able to get on the treadmill while the kids still sleep.

I work full time and have 2 kids under 4, so I decided to get up a 4am to run and now have added Jillian's 30 day shred after my run. It is uninterrupted "me" time and I feel great afterwards. LIke others have said it takes getting used to. Even adding the 30 day shred might help, as it is only 20 minutes. Good Luck!

During the week I am up at 4 and on the treadmill for 45-50 minutes. Then do some other exercises, get showered and ready before I have to get the kids up. Some days when I can't make myself get up I will do it later at night after bedtime but it's hard to make myself do that consistently. I'd rather do it in the morning,…

I do the same thing, get up early, this morning I really didn't want to get up at 4 when the alarm went off after not being asleep until 11, but I did it and I'm glad I did. Feel so much better after I do. I ate candy this weekend and not the best things, but hey overall I make better choices and I'm proud of that

4 am is when I find the time. I work full time and also teach one night a week and am the mother of two, three year old and 10 month old. So when they go to bed, I don't have the energy or motivation to work out. It is much easier for me to do it in the morning and get it done. I like the quiet and the me time. Granted it…

I work full time, so it's a little different for me. I have found it best to get up and run before the kids get up. I am up at 4:00 M-F and on the treadmill and then doing some strength exercises. Gives me time to myself to better myself with little distractions. Run while the world sleeps

I agree, I am up at 4:00 M-F in order to get a good workout in and showered and ready by time I have to get kids up by 6:30. Every day it is hard to get out of bed but I feel good after I do it, and what helps me is that I catch up on my TV shows while I run, so that makes it more fun because needless to say I am in bed by…

I have started using whey protein and it has worked out really well and only 120 calories per scopp, which is 20g of protein

I hit a plateau for at least 6 weeks and last week was first time saw some real progress, despite not doing well this weekend, but anyway, talked with a nutrition person and they told me based on how much I am exercising and calories I am burning I was not eating enough protein. So last week I started using some whey…

Exactly what I need today. I am about 6 months on MFP and had about 30 pounds to loose and I have been stuck between 20-23 pounds for like the past 4-6 weeks. Very frustrating because you do work so hard. So thank you for this, very inspriring!

I get up at 4 to workout in the morning before having to get kids ready. I don't eat before I do this. I do find it gives me more energy and if I didn't work out in the morning I don't think I could make myself do it at night. It also helps curb my appetite and I typically have oatmeal and my coffee when i get to work

is that 150 a month?

I am just trying to do things in moderation. I have manged to loose between Thanksgiving to now and plan to continue to work out 5-6 days a week. So even if I maintain I will be happy. A little indulgence does not out weigh all the hard work I've done.

I have been up and downt he last couple weeks, loosing some then gaining it back. I have noticed that the week before my period is when I feel more hungry and crave the chocolate and junk more, so I honestly think that affects me those change in hormones. Other than that I have no idea why I do it either, some days…

I agree with the above. I lost 40 pounds prior to my wedding, then gained about 10 back in first year and now two kids later I'm 10 pounds away from my wedding weight, which is very exciting for me, but it is about lifetime goals. There is a lot of stress now but if you are moving this weekend, then that stress will be…

You can do it! I was up 4-5 pounds and got back on track yesterday, and weigh in this am was down about a pound. Drinking lots of water today to shrink stomach back down :)

Well I'm up 4 pounds from my pre-Thanksgiving weigh in that will hopefully come off ok now back on logging and running, but my NSV is that I ran my first 5K on Thanksgiving in 31 minutes!!!! So proud! I've noticed my size 12 jeans (kinda of stretchy material) are big by end of day, so maybe my shopping tomorrow for…

That is awesome ladies!

I've been on MFP for four months and have lost 20 pounds, so average a pound/week. Some weeks though I didn't really loose other weeks lost 2-4lbs.
-
I put some hard boiled eggs and a little relish with mine.
-
I'm 5'9", larger frame and my goal is 175, that is what I was on the day of my wedding and I feel that looked good on me. Now two kids later I want to get back there and see how it looks, MFP says 167 for the high end of my BMI

I catch up on my tv shows on the ipad....sure does make it go faster!

I'm a Clinical social worker at a Community heatlh clinic, busy days, most days, love working with my patients, even though they can be maddening

I think this is part of the journey, we all have cheat days and days we over indulge, and that is part of the real world in my book, but perhaps the greatest part of the journey is that we might begin to feel less guilty about thes bad days because we know our good days out weigh the bad and that tomorrow you get up and…

I'm trying to stick with moderation, I've seen good progress so far this week and don't want to piss it away
