It's a great workout; put together very well, I must say!!!:) I even have the Gamma phase for later. Some days I do dread it, though, but the workouts are worth it!!!!!:)

I have about the same burn as you, but you know what? Not too shabby, that big of a burn in only 25 minutes.
-
I am starting the Beta Phase Monday; would that count?:) It has been difficult for my to shed pounds, but I did manage to lose a good amount of inches in the Alpha phase alone. The cardio is my favorite--you will sweat a lot and it goes by very fast.

I used to burn alot of calories in a shorter amount of time. Now it gets less and less. My HR is very low as it is, so I really have to work to get to go up there. Maybe in Beta phase, there will be a better burn.

When someone says says derogatory things about another's appearance, the problem lies within themselves.

Sounds like a terriffic bunch of people around you:)

I just say "no thanks; maybe later". What else can they say:)

Hi:) I started week 5 today, and, while I didn't lose many pounds, I did lose alot of inches. Except in week 4; no change. Maybe this is telling me my body is ready for Beta, which I start on Monday. I see good definition starting in my abs. Mind you, I am down 81 pounds, so the annoying thing is that I have that extra…

I burn about the same as Karint74. When I was heavier, I would burn alot more calories. I have read that men generally burn more doing the same exercise. In t25, you work hard anyway, LOL!!!!!! Even during modifications:)
-
I lost inches each week except for this past week. I start week 5 on Monday. Worried that I won't lose anymore:(
-
Hi:) I create the exercise and put in what my Heart Rate Monitor says for calorie burn.

Thank you so much for your reply. The peole who take the time to offer the snarky and unnecessary remarks must be very perfect and are therefore bored with those of us seeking input on certain things:/ I will definitely give Quorn a try; I am always looking for something new so I don't get too bored in my daily struggles…

I will keep checking for lower sodium options for sure, then. Morninstar does taste good, though:) It does fit into my program here on MFP; I rarely go over my daily goals in that respect. I have been enjoying it for lunch each day.
-
I didn't ask about McDonalds. I was wondering if MorningStar farms is a healthy food to consume. Are you normally this pleasant when answering someone's question?
-
Really? Conversely, I can't believe you took the time to reply:/

He doesn't believe in them; he is vegan and refuses to eat anything packaged:/
-
Thanks:) I guess I should have reworded my question. I know it's processed, but is it considered unhealthy is what I was going for. My doctor is vegan and wanted me to go that route...I did try for a month and didn't like it. Someone on here had some nerve saying they 'can't believe this is a real question'....Shaking my…

Hi there, and thank you:) I am hypothyroid and have been advised to follow low carb and high protein diet. I wasn't able to lose unnecessary weight for a long time, then the Doctor told me it would be good to stay away from white bread, flour pasta, rice, etc. It was difficult at first, but I don't miss it at all.

I have been losing inches each week, but no weight. The scale does not budge. But, hey, I wll take the inches. I can see a nice difference and tomorrow, I finish week 4. I cannot wait till Alpha is over; looking forward to some new moves. Totally forgot I do have the Gamma set in my collection!!! Was tempted, but I will…

Bump:) This is a great topic and very helpful.

I would love for someone to say this to me, LOL!!!!!! When i was pregnant with my son, I was barely in the first trimester, when someone told me "Don't get fat".

I throw them in the wash--cold--germs do not like the cold. sometimes I use woolite; they are also lighter in color, so I use bleach. You could use color safe bleach. Air dry them; don't put them in the dryer. Keep your hands clean before putting them on.
-
Yes; learning every day that diet is the thing. I just have to figure out how much protein I should have, etc.
-
Thanks, Bobbystrongar:) How do I get my body fat % tested? Would my physician do this, or do I go elsewhere?
-
Hi:) Didn't get the Gamma workouts yet, but will definitely do so.
-
Thanks, KAS0917:) I have trouble dropping weight, but have been losing inches; will have to go over my diet again, just in case. I do go over sugar sometimes, but it's from fruit and I add honey to my tea. Hoping that's not the case for not losing. And maybe I need to get back to spin class---haven't been able to get to…

Jeremyw1977; I feel the same way; I modify a little to give myself a break, but pretty much stick with it and cannot wait till it's over. I am told that Beta is where 'the magic happens'; hoping this is true. I started week 4, Alpha today and would like some new moves. Thanks so much for your input:)
-
I haven't lost any pounds--my weight has stayed the same, but I have been losing inches each week. I am starting week 4 tomorrow. Fellows seem to drop weight no matter what diet/workout program they are on; I want to hear from ladies just like me, who cannot get the scale to move, but yet, inches seem to be dropping off. I…
-
When do the pounds start coming off, though? I am nearing the end of week 3 and the scale hasn't moved. I have lost inches each week, though, but want that number on the scale to be less.

I like that it's only 25 minutes, but it is hard work. I have noticed that some people did Insanity/p90x and are going to do another round of them....Makes me wonder, then if it really works:/ If one finished insanity or p90x, shouldn't they be done with that; do they look like the after pictures in the informercials? If I…
