I always try to overestimate my eating calories and underestimate my exercise calories. And I really try to avoid eating back ALL my exercise calories. Maybe 50% or so, but never all of them.

I agree with impyimpyaj. Don't guess at your body fat %. Get it tested and then you won't need to be self conscious about coments other people make because you will have facts.

That makes me tired just reading it!

I started this week at 310. I'm already down 8 pounds. Lots more to go. Anyone who wants to add me as a friend is welcome to. I'm always up for more support.

50 seems like a lot to me. Thanks for the feedback.

I just want to see a "2" at the beginning of my scale. 4 more lbs. to go.

Honestly, in 6 weeks I hope to be downat least 20 lbs. I know that's a lot, but I have a lot to lose, and at least initially, it seems like it is coming off fast enough for me to meet that goal.

"I can outrun my diet."

Dang. Wow.

It was a very sad day in our office when management replaced all the 12 oz can vending machines with 20 oz bottle vending machines. That sucked.

Welcome! And good luck!

Sweet. I've been on the lookout for more smoothie recepies ever since I got my Blendtec. Although I've never purchased almond milk or almond butter before. I'll have to check those out.

You and me are pretty much the same. I'm trying to get from 305 (current weight) down to around 220. That's the long term goal. The short term goal is to get to 260-270. For now, all I'm trying to do is hit my number every day.

Wow. That is awesome. Keep it going!

Well done. I'm hoping to be you in about 6 months. Congrats and keep it up.

I've never even lost 5 lbs. I can gain weight, or keep it constant but I've never in my adult life lost weight (other than normal day to day fluctuations) I feel like if I could just drop that first 10-15 lbs I would know that I'm on the right track. But that has been REALLY difficult to do.
