How often do you weigh in...
I know there are recommendations that you limit your weigh-ins to once a week. But I can't halp climbing on the scale every morning just to see where I'm at. If I'm down I'm elated. If I'm steady, or a little up I can be a little bummed. How often do you weigh in?

I still haven't gotten an answer regarding HRM and BMR
If I'm counting calories, and using a Heart Rate Monitor to determine calorie burn during exercise, how do consider the fact that my BMR (basal metabolic rate) calculation already includes a base number of calories per hour? That's a great number, but I don't feel or look any different. Not that I expected to, but I was just curious: For those like me who started out with a lot to lose,…

How big a deal is it to have a Coke...
If I'm eating well otherwise and still stay under my calorie number? I would love to give up soda completely, but in the meantime, is an occasional 20oz Coke going to screw things up, as long as I don't let it push me over my target number?

1 lb lost... 89 to go
If I could just lose 20 lbs that would be progress. It is always seems like something to throw my off. Travel, special event, birthday, vacation... whatever. Time to just bite the bullet. I've never counted calories before. This should be an adventure. What's the best way to get a support group/ stay motivated?
