Oh lord. That is vaginal fluid.

5'5" and 143. Blech. I would really like to be between 125-130.

You are getting a lot of protein. Are you sure you need that much? I would just stop taking the whey protein.

Given the slow pace and short distance I probably wouldn't bother counting it.

Running shoes are so individualized. Get to a running store and have them fit you. What works for one doesn't work for another.
-
I run a predetermined course outside so knowing that if I slow down its only going to take longer to get home keeps me going at a pretty good pace.

This. Not every store is for every person.

So gross yet so funny!

You are not too fat for squats. I think you are overestimating how active you were before starting your program. Walking 15 minutes to and from work should not be considered active. Really, walking 3-4 miles isn't that active. Also, endurance activities such as walking, running, swimming, etc., use different muscle fibers…

Congrats! You should be proud. You look amazing!

Nope, sometimes I get in about half a cup of coffee, but otherwise I workout on an empty stomach. I already have to get up at 5am to get a workout in, I'd have to get up even earlier if I wanted to eat breakfast. I will not give up those precious extra minutes of sleep!

If you eat "real" food you will feel better and have more energy. Feel free to take a look at my diary for examples. I am in no way perfect, but I try…

I "know" that I should be focusing on weightlifting since I only have 10 vanity pounds to lose. My problem is that I LOVE running. I think if I cut down on running it would have a detrimental affect on my mental health. It's a catch 22 for me.

Never. Hate, hate underwear while working out.

Congratulations!

At 5'6" and 170 you will still be considered overweight by BMI standards (for however much that is worth). I am 5'5.5" and 139 lbs. I still have some pudge.

The first mile, I HATE the first mile. My first mile is almost all uphill too.

I LOVE wine, sadly I recently gave it up for the foreseeable future. I just can't stick to 5 oz and it was seriously derailing my efforts to lose those stubborn last 10 pounds.

Okay, another question then, I only really have time for one spin class a week. Is it worth it to continue if I'm not going to 2x-3x per week? I was thinking of dropping one of my runs for spin, but the only time I can make spin is 6am, which throws off our family's schedule too much if I go more than once a week. I…
