Yes, the bra will help, and try on lots of different styles of tops. I totally get the previous post about button-downs, they always spread apart! I also feel like a heffer when the boobs take over an outfit < DD (down to a D now) cup, although my sports bra is squishing me big time in this photo!

Could be that you are not eating enough, especially if you are also working out. Your body needs fuel to burn!! Your food choices look good, though. Just more... And make sure you are drinking a lot of water &/or non-caffeinated beverages (like herbal tea). Good luck!!

Great advice, photogrrl!

Yay for you!! I ran my first 1/2 last year, and am going for it again in Sept! I know there are a lot of do's and dont's, but I didn't really do anything different the week before, except be extra vigilent about what I was putting in my body and drank extra water. Day of, it is recommended to eat carbs (like a bagel or…

I agree with the person who said that if your friends don't support you, then get new friends... Try to get them involved in your new lifestyle. Besides, who doesn't want to look healthy and fit at college?? Good luck and stay motivated!!

Friend request...SENT!

You are such an inspiration! I need people like you on my team. I'm sending you a friend request!!
-
I don't have a suggestiong - sorry! I just wanted to commend you on your dedication to get the whole family healthy. No matter how difficult it will be, hang in there!!!

I eat Teddie brand peanut butter (only peanuts and salt) or almond butter. Look for brands that only have actual whole-food ingredients. It won't be as sweet as, say, Jif, but it's pretty good!

Schedule your workout like any other appointment you have. Non-negotiable. Once you get in the habit, you will never want to give up your "me" time! And you will LOVE this site! Lots of motivation/tips and eye-opening revelations about your personal eating and exercise habits. Enjoy!

I try to log BEFORE I eat (especially dinner) to make sure I am within my calorie goals. Make it a point to drink water - start early! Eat your exercise calories - you need them to fuel your day. ALWAYS log everyday and add inspirational friends. Good luck!

NSVs are always exciting, and sometimes more so than wight loss. By the way, 11 lbs in that short a time is AMAZING!!!! Keep up the great work!!!
-
I love that you also want to "give" support! Let's do this thing!!

Also a teacher. I actually found that it's EASIER to stay on a structured eating plan during the school year. Just plan, plan, plan and prepare meals and snacks ahead of time. I will request you as a friend!

FanTAStic!!! wheeeeee!

Vacations are always tough, especially when you are visiting others who are not eating the same way as you are. I would say, control as much of your food intake as you can, eat small portions of the heavier food with lots of veggies on the side (offer to steam veggies or make a salad to go with meals), and get as much…

3lbs per week is a LOT!! Honestly, slow weight loss is best (1-2 lbs per week). It is MUCH easier to maintain once you get to your goal weight! I don't have a lot to lose, so I am aiming for 1 lb per week, and after 1 week, that's what I have lost :) Good luck!

Nice! Good thing I don't like Krispy Kreme - 217 for one donut that won't even satisfy me?!?! No thanks!

I know all about trying to stop at ONE delicious thing!! It helps to log everything here. I don't want my MFP friends to see me be a pig! Also, when I see it in writing, it makes me stop! Ultimately, it comes down to YOU and your willingness to make a change. It's time for you to be healthy and happy with yourself!
-
You can add me too!!

I don't know. Generally, I want to look and feel great; be an inspiration to others; just be the best "me" I can be. On a funny side note, if there is a zombie apocalypse, I want to be able to run away  Just kidding!

Your body will need those calories to maintain your energy levels while workingout. MFP already factors in a calorie deficit. Besides, losing slowly is always best. If you cut your calories too much in the beginning and lose quickly, it is very difficult to maintain. Best of luck to you! PS, feel free to add me as a…

Missed it this year, but want to do it next year. It looks like a helluva good time!!

Sounds like you could use some support, motivation, a source of information and lots of personal drive!! You have made a fantastic first move by posting your fears / needs here so that we can help you. Make sure you log every little thing you eat and make your diary public. I know it's a little scary, but we don't know…

I log in every day. Well, I'm new this week, but I have logged in every day and plan to keep doing it:tongue:
-
Sounds a bit low to me. You will probably lose weight that way, but it would be difficult to keep it off! Slow and steady is best.
-
Nice! Keep it up, don't rest on your laurels! (As I have done in the past)

SHAKEOLOGY!! It's just not morning until I've had it!!
-
When I am hungry and know it's not real hunger, I try these things: -Keep my hands busy: clean, make a to-do list, organize a drawer, play a game, read a book -Cook (believe it or not): grill up some chicken to use later in the week, boil eggs, etc -Exercise: I know this is hard to do when you are hungry, but you will feel…

Hi! I am also new to MFP. I like it because it is similar to weight watchers as far as logging food and exercise.I love the feature that tells you how much you would weigh in 5 weeks if every day is like today! Anyway, add me as a friend if you want!
