  • False. Much more to life now. TNP works in an office.
  • I add 1/4 of oats to my smoothie and lean protein powder. Yes the calories are high (about 425) but then you have have a lighter lunch or dinner. I find it stays with me for four hours or so, and even then I'm not starving for lunch.
  • garlic clove
  • I prefer VS thongs (I think they are body by victoria). They have a satiny feel so very comfortable with yoga pants.
  • If you don't have time to brew it ahead of time, just take one tea bag and put it in a 16 oz glass about 1/4 filled with hot water. Let it steep for about five minutes. Then add a crystal light individual lemonade packet and fill the rest of the way with cold water and ice. Stir and remove tea bag. This is fairly sweet…
  • I'm 5'5" and my first goal is 140. From there I may change it to 130-135. My doc says I should be 125. We'll see how I feel when I get to each number.
  • I think for some people its hard to give a compliment for whatever reason. It isn't that hard to say "You look good" and its such a boost to the person getting the compliment. BTW, You look great!
  • I've had weeks where I lose nothing. I weigh myself daily and every day it's the same, no matter if I exercised and ate well. Stick with it though, usually the next week I'm down a pound. If you are female (sorry can't tell from your post) you will go up and down with your cycle too.
  • I have a desk job too, but if you get breaks, go for a walk. Its great to get the fresh air and get out of the office. Keep water nearby for when you are hungry (as they say we are probably thirsty instead and can't tell the difference) and try not to snack. I'm going to start doing squats in the bathroom, LOL!
  • In my opinion, every body is different and it takes some time to figure out what your body needs. You may need to adjust your calories, add a few more if you do a lot of exercise. Even what you choose for your 1200 calories seems to be a factor (I've found that out). And we all gain sometimes so don't let it get you down.…
  • Thanks everyone. Good to know that I'm on the right track with this. It seems to be a good thing. I don't know if I'll be able to do a week at a time but I'm sure that is the best option.
  • Having a drink every now and then is okay in my opinion. Its when we have one to many that our bodies cannot handle it. If possible plan for the drink ahead of time so that you can account for the calories. If you enjoy a beer, you shouldn't deprive yourself from it or you will go overboard when you do.
  • I freeze them, then use a half a banana in my breakfast smoothie (about 350 calories for 16 oz). I usually only drink half cause its very filling.
  • I'm 32 and just starting tracking my weight again. Does anyone have any successful food plans? I usually eat under my calories but am not seeing the weight come off. And I could use some friends!
  • Washington State!
  • Thanks everyone for the tips. I ended up actually losing a pound during my vacation! We were on the fourth floor and we took the stairs and walked and watched our portions. So thank you!
  • We will be at a resort. Thanks for the tip on portions, I will keep that in mind. I'm also bringing work out clothes, so I have no excuse not to spend a few minutes in the gym or running on the beach!
  • Usually alcohol or fast food puts me over and I forget to log it all in. I love a drink or two every now and then, but then totally regret the empty calories I just consumed. I just try to think of the next day as a new day to get back on track.
