I shop at Winco too. I find some produce, deli meat, and frozen veggies are reasonably priced. Also I get the 5 dozen eggs (if they have it at yours) and do a lot of hard boiled eggs.

Maybe a protein shake? There is one by Perfect Keto, its a chocolate base and is suppose to help you get into ketosis quick. You could combine it with almond or coconut milk as a dessert?

Thanks everyone for the advice. I don't have tons to lose, so I think that's why my progress has been slower than others. To answer some questions, I realize I am not strict keto, as I don't do grass-fed, so I'm more dirty keto I guess. I drink lots of water, about 80-90 ounces a day. I think part of my slow progress is I…

I gained a lot my first trimester also, as carbs were all I could eat too. I was really scared I was going to gain a lot, but it tapered off in the second trimester when I could eat better. I have a sweet tooth too and just want cake and cookies and ice cream, so I try to curb that with fruit, I eat a lot of berries,…

SW: 141 Week 31: 160.6 (+19.6) Week 32+2: 163 (+22) Week 34+6: 166.2 (+25.2) Week 35+2: 165.4 (+24.4) First time the scale has gone down, probably due to my super busy weekend working on the nursery and getting my house ready for baby! No time to think much of eating. I'll make up for it I'm sure this week, lol.

SW: 141 Week 31: 160.6 (+19.6) Week 32+2: 163 (+22) Week 34+6: 166.2 (+25.2) This is the highest weight I have ever been. I keep telling myself that its okay to be this heavy but it's a very hard to not look at this number negatively.

I use Amazing Grass® Protein Superfood and got the go ahead from my doctor that it was safe. It's vegan, organic, doesn't have a lot of vitamins, no amino acids, just plant protein. Tastes not awesome but I'm getting use to it. I got vanilla, the chocolate might be better.

SW: 141 Week 31: 160.6 (+19.6) Haven't gained in two weeks, it's actually helping me get back into the middle of my recommended weight for the week.

Is anyone in their third trimester noticing a decrease in appetite? I haven't been gaining much during the last couple weeks but I'm not eating more than 1500 calories or so a day which is probably too low.

@obiasmummy I am in the US and am not testing currently, it was just the test in the doctor's office. Thanks for the advice on when to eat my carbs, I will start lowering my breakfast carbs. For snacks I do try to have a protein for each with my fruit. I love my fruit! Although its natural, that's where I get a lot of my…

It was a 2 hour test. I haven't talked to my doc yet, but I'm sure it will come up. I'm trying to take a proactive approach to this and get it lower for my health, my sons and in case I need to do the 3 hour test.

@VeryKatie Thank you so much for the insight! This is my first pregnancy and I don't know what's too much to gain. I was fit before my pregnancy, went to the gym all the time but that disappeared when I got pregnant and got sick and tired. My doc doesn't tell me anything expect that I'm gaining too much, which stresses me…

I get this too! I'm at 27 weeks and when I walk I get pain below my belly on both sides. This is my first so I don't know if this is normal. I assume its my muscles stretching with the weight but it's difficult to stay active if I'm in pain.

So i'm now 27w3d and have gained 19 pounds. I feel big and I'm not even in my third tri yet. I'm still gaining like a pound a week and don't want to feel like a whale when I'm due. I'm eating about 1800 calories, I'm 5'5" and now 160 pounds. Am I eating too much? I have a doc appt on Friday and know my weight is going to…

I unfortunately have not passed the nausea stage and i'm 24 weeks. But I do try to walk on my breaks and the weekends, fresh air seems to help for me.

I'm 24 weeks and have gained about 17 pounds. I personally am fine with the weight I've gained, but each time I get on the scale at the doctors office, I cringe because its going up and up. My doctor even showed me a graph of "this is where you are and this is where you should be". I'm like yes I know I'm gaining a bit too…

I'm due April 22nd! Our first, a boy!

I'm due in April and just started using MFP to track my food so I can gain at a healthy rate.

OP I also have muscular legs, I'd like them to be thinner but I also know they aren't going to be super thin. I'm built with bigger legs; I'll always be a pear shape. I'd suggest yoga and cardio but weight training also. There isn't one instant fix. Personally, I try to just be happy with my progress thus far and keep…

I like mine. I have a Fitbit Charge. I'm the type of person that likes motivation and the fitbit does that. This is why I like it: 1. it has a clock. 2. I can push a button to see where I am steps, burn, floors, etc. (so you don't have to check your phone or computer for updates) 3. I have alarms on it. 4. I can set goals…

Have you been able to fix your apps? I'm having problems connecting MMF with MFP as well.

When people leave the free weights on the machine so I have to put them away and then grab my own weights. When people walk on the treadmill at a 15 incline but then hold on to the top of the machine. Yes it makes it easier to do that, but you are getting no benefit from the 15 incline now. What's the point? To impress me?

I eat greek yogurt (usually about 10-13g protein), cottage cheese (12g in 1/2 cup), or protein bars (some have up to 30g protein).

You can friend me.

I would say no. If you are light active, you should be moving around a considerable amount and taking steps already. Or you could change to sedentary and then record steps.
