  • i have a cup of black coffee. the caffine is supposedly an appetite supressant,l and the bitter chocolate notes can kill some cravings. you could also try clear soup, or home made chicken broth without salt.
  • part of the reason i buy low calorie cook books is for low calorie desserts its hard to find those online. my recommendation for chocolate : http://www.amazon.com/Hersheys-Light-Luscious-Desserts-Publications/dp/0785309926/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1351196000&sr=8-2&keywords=hershey%27s+light+and+luscious+desserts i love this…
  • i usually ignore the sugars in milks cheeses fruits and vegetables. i tend to only focus on the sugars that are added to stuff, like ones found in candies, cakes, or sugary snacks. they say you shouldn't eat more than 25 grams of added sugar a day.
  • i've done that, but recently its mainly to add something that i can't remember what crazy weird brand name it had. but i have added the 390 calories of the secret $1 cheeseburger that i so crave. also to fool myself that i'm not over on my salt intake. i also don't like to log coffee. i don't drink it with 8 sugars and a…

  • not about food but about cooking.... i got some calphalon stainless steel cookware as a gift. and althoyugh it boils water beautifully, i can't get it to stop sticking! seems like no matter what i cook. it sticks! sometimes it loosens up, othertimes it acts like it burns.
  • i always crave buffalo wing chicken, or chocolate cakes. i think they just tell us that we don't have enough to distract us and we want to eat our cravings
  • A few days ago i had a medierainian egg white sandwich at panera bread. It was supposedly 410 calories, but it was greasy (and expensive) So i made my own version at home I bought ciabatta bread from sams's club (120 calories per 2oz. easy to cut a chunk to your liking, then scoop out some of the bread so it fits 2 oz) and…
  • on sale no seriously, with a touch of butter or olive oil, tons of fresh garlic, and with a good char
  • i can't live without coffee...therefor i don't log it. but i have made major changes. i used to drink half a cup of coffee with 1/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of heavy sugary flavored cream. i recently switched to 6 oz of coffee with 2 oz of low fat milk. i drink 2 cups of it on a work day, and x cups of it on days i don't…

  • I was actually very skinny as a kid. I don't really know why, i ate twice then what i do now. But maybe its because i was more active? I lived in a small town (but it was big, you had to drive through the country to get to anything worth while) and if i wanted to do anything fun i had to walk, or ride my bike. And fun…
  • i've had problems in the past. looking for something like "butter generic" gets me weird searches like "butter flavored crutons" or "butternut jelly". although i can't say i've hadany issues recently, but thats mostly because i quit logging stuff for a little while here and started keeping a journal on my compuiter instead.

  • 2 Tablespoons of fat free half and half. 20ish calories per cup. I learned to do without sugar, i weaned myself off it by taking away one 1/4 teaspoon each day.
  • Well...thanks but i knew that already. I was wondering if anyone knew of any specific companies that made "new" sets? i'm sort of afraid to buy antying vintage or antiquey because of the possibility of it containing lead...
  • 2 whole wheat frozen waffles 1/2 c blackberries 1 T chopped pecans 1 T pancake syrup
  • i always go over sugar, 100% of the time, but 99% of it is always natural sugar, found in milk or fruits. i don't even look at it anymore. other than that, salt. its so hard for me to make my own foods from scratch in my tiny joke of a kitchen, so most of my stuff is processed. plus it sems that 90% of all low fat/fat free…
  • working out before work is out of the question, i bearly have enough time just to get to work. i work in the morning (anywhere from 6am to 8am) and i'd have to shower after i exercise which would mean i'd have to get up earlier. and i can barely get up as it is! i don't have access to a pool or a bike, sadly. i have a…
  • 95% of my apartment is decorated with stuff from the 1960's and earlier. plus the furniture!!!! You can find some really really nice old sturdy furniture for like 300 dollars and under! Whereas you'd pay like 2500 for it at a store these days and it'd already be falling apart

  • This is from the "Eat more of what you love" low calorie cook book its very smiliar to a pot pie, but the crust is optional. for the crust just cut out a 3 3/4 inch round piece of refrigerated pie crust dough, prick the edge with a fork to resemble the pie crust edge, and cook it according to the box, and top/eat it on the…
