I started the 5:2 fasting diet 3 weeks ago. I eat my tdee 5 days a week and only 500 calories on my fast days. I usually fast from 7pm to 7 pm with just water and herbal teas inbetween . You can split your calories up into 2 meals if you like . I have lost 5lbs so far .

i have tried running several times but I just hate it. I bought a cheap second hand bike and found I love cycling. I also enjoy Zumba. I think its important to find what you do like if you are going to stick with it.

thanks for the advice. i am going to look at some of these options. recently had by body fat percentage and it is 46%. Scarey stuff as I am at an age when my muscle mass is likely to start decreasing if i don't do something about it.

Hi I am from N.Ireland. Trying to lose 50 pounds baby weight and my baby has just turned 18 (years not months lol). I tracking my calories but not really sure what diet plan to follow so would love to join this group for support and advice.
