OH I still have carbs, just whole grain versions of the white. whole grain flour, WG rice or wild, WG pasta.....

What I do for bad days is once they're over, forget about them and move on.
-
Here's one I'm working with... I rearranged it slightly to not have as many back to back run days. http://www.fitsugar.com/Half-Marathon-Training-Schedule-Beginners-2845222

I basically eat what I want but really try to avoid straight up junk food like candy. I avoid whites (pasta, rice, sugar, bread) when at all possible. I try to avoid prepackaged meals if I can. Anything with partially hydrogenated is a game stopper. I don't buy it, and if I'm eating it and don't know it hten find out I stop,…

It's not the person trying to help that's the fool, it's the person blindly following that advice without researching it themselves. This applies not only to fitness, but also to the other taboos such as politics and religion.

The following link is to youtube. It's a video posted by merrell on their cushioned zero drop shoes... They explain, show cutaways, and talk about what it is. I prefer less cushion, I love the roadfeel and have been minimalist runnign for 2 years or so. The important thing is that you're out doing something, but please do…

If you run right there is far less impact than everyone tends to think.
-
A good zero drop shoe will greatly help you run right. Zero drop means your foot is level as if you were barefoot. They make zero drop shoes that are not minimalist. They have plenty of cushion, but don't put your foot at a downward slope that all but forces you to heelstrike. Personally I run in minimalist shoes, vibram…

Reverse osmosis is the only way to remove floride.
-
I wish we'd get DE FLUORINATED tap in the United States. There's no reason NO REASON for fluoride to be in tap water. Fluoride does absolutely nothing when ingested.

Netflix... tried both. Netflix has more stuff than hulu plus and no commercials mid show.
-
Depends on the body composition. I'm still at the "both" stage. Maybe about 80% inches, 20% scale at this point.

filtered into a portable reusable container. Our water is heavily chlorinated usually.
-
We get bulk raw, but repackage them into servings. I bit cheaper that way.

Just finished week 3 day 1. It was 69 situps. Rather than doing the 5 sets I just did two... first set 55, 2nd set 14.

This website, the labels on food, your scales you measure with, HRM's, they're all just estimates. With that being said using a chest strap HRM with your personal stats programmed into it, short of getting a lab test will be your most accurate estimate of what you burn. estimates based on averages.... We all do the best we…

If I completed a day I called it a "pass". If I got to the next day and could not complete it I'd repeat that day til it could be completed, again, once the day was done go ot the next day.
-
IT doesn't matter, just be consistent on which scale you use. even if you get a new scale it will NOT coincide with all of the others. PIck a scale and stick with THAT scale as your official one.
-
Any digital one should do the trick. I can put a plate of pasta on a food scale, zero it, and sprinkle parmasean cheese on the place and watch the grams increase as the heavenly white sprinkles hit the sauce.

Get the better bike and spend the time riding it as opposed to making repairs.

FAcebook page to get on too.. http://www.facebook.com/C25Kplan

Some think it's a pain to measure all the food you eat too. It's just something you have to do.
-
It's a great program. Follow it, you can't go wrong!

Eyes are better rolled, than belly fat.
-
Go to your local bike shop and tell the guys there what you want to do. They'll point you in the right direction, get you measure and get the seat/handlebars/etc adjusted for you. They should let you test ride it as well. The cheapest bike shop bike is FAR superior to the most expensive "walmart/target" bike.

So I run 10 or 15 miles a week before I joined MFP I shouldn't log those? Is that seriously what you're trying to say? This is ridiculous advice.
-
Would you log it if you jogged/ran to work every day? A brisk pace with a 10lb pack twice a day is no different than someone that logs a morning or afternoon jog every day for a mile. I'd log it.

Iowa is NOT heaven... just sayin'....
-
I've heard it both ways. My take is either is fine in the long run as long as you pick one and stick to it.
